For over 15 years Ana’s voice and talent have inspired fans and fellow artists alike. The majority of her previous six records have been made through the generous support of her musical community, taking the time in between their own projects to record her songs. [see full bio below] Though each record has earned critical praise, she has yet to reach a broader audience. Now, things are changing. The legendary Steve Earle has agreed to produce her seventh record. “I always figured she’d find a champion to help her get her folksy music out there,” said CMT’s Craig Shelbourn. The Hardcore Troubadour has pledged to work with Ana on her next album if she can raise the funds to do it right. But one champion won’t be enough. Ana needs you--friends, fans, and music lovers--to make the record she’s been destined to make, one that at long last is worthy of her formidable gifts as a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist.

Steve Earle has reserved six days at Levon Helm’s studio in Woodstock, NY where Ana plans to record twelve new songs accompanied by a full band. Paying for the studio time, producer, engineer and other musicians all adds up – everyone needs to be paid to continue the work that they do. While Ana and her label will still have to cover much of these costs themselves , funds raised through Kickstarter will help immeasurably by underwriting part of the cost of the recording, manufacture, distribution, and promotion of the record on CD and digital formats.

Ana will release this CD on the independent label GRACE/PARKINSONG RECORDS. GRACE/PARKINSONG RECORDS. is a joint venture between Ana's own GRACE RECORDS, and PARKINSONG RECORDS, a not-for profit label dedicated to raising awareness of the need for increased funding and research for Parkinson's Disease. PARKINSONG was founded by the adult children of a PD sufferer. Its 2004 release Parkinsong Vol. 1 - 38 Songs of Hope, features Bonnie Raitt, Crosby and Nash, and thrirty six other contemporary singer-songwriters, including Ana Egge.
