Visibility for moving vehicles is a huge problem. This looks like a great solution. I've used this sort of device at the Burningman and hope you get some exposure there. :)

@Manan The BikeGlow you would get is the lighted wire that goes around the bike, and the beacon light (tail light). I believe the beacon light holds the batteries that run the lighted wire.

Hi Jose,
Yes, the product you see in that video is the first BikeGlow light without the integrated Tail Light. The power unit that is shown has now been turned into a tail light, so there is no longer a need to attach the power unit to your bike frame.

I really want this project to succeed because I really want/need one.
Thanks for the video, I now see the passion and excitement you have for your product and I think that's what people want to see. If I'm not mistaken, I'm guessing the product in the video is an older prototype becuse I didn't see the tail light. Correct me if I'm wrong. Either way I'm excited and hoping for more backers to get my hands on one of these. Maybe with the success of this, you could produce other lights to "pimp" out a bike. Lights for the spokes maybe? Or the rims? Just an idea. Anyway, good luck.

Thanks for your comments. We've been answering messages, sorry for the delay posting a comment. We are working on the video, it will be up before there are 30 days left to go in the project. (For now, if you'd like to hear from me, the project manager, in person explaining the first design of the light, you can see that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch…) We're also working on getting pictures of the prototype up.
For those early backers that want a second light, we're asking that you fund $50 and send us a note that you are an early back that wants two lights. This will take one of the early back slots, but get you two lights.
The length of the light for wrapping around the frame is 10'. It is flexible like copper wire, so you can bend it and wrap it as you see fit.
Hope that helps provide more info for now. Thanks a TON for your kind words and support of the project. It's a culmination of much hard work, and we truly feel the bicycle safety lighting world will welcome the addition of this easy to use side lighting, instead of just a tail light.

Doesn't seem like you even keep track of your Project. There's been no acknowledgement of the comments here or an update for that matter. A video would help tremendously to help convince people to back the project and to see/meet who's behind this project, a personal touch if you will. I hope there's an update soon. Pictures or a video would be nice.
