Hey Everyone,

Just a quick update: I now have added a facebook artist page.  Some of you might have noticed that I no longer maintain a personal profile; I de-activated it for this instead.  I didn't see the need to have a regular profile anymore but I do recognize that half the world uses Facebook, so for better or worse it's still a viable platform for promoting a product.  Facebook isn't exactly the most intutive site for artists- in fact, you can't even add tracks onto a regular band site (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me) but luckily there's an app called bandpage that subs in instead.  Here's the link:

Just wanted to let you know that my website is now finished.  It can be accessed here:

I picked the name off of a recommendation from a friend of mine; my production company will be called The I.S.H Productions- I.S.H. being an acronym for Innovator Seeking Harmony.  I thought it was a pretty clever way to (hopefully) allude to the quality of my music as well as incorporate my artist name and philosophy into the name of my production company.  Thanks goes out to Ramsey Rodriguez for the recommendation, great suggestion hermano!

As promised, those of you that donated $50 or more are listed in the special thanks section of the website, with the exception of those that chose not to receive a gift.  Should anyone that chose to withhold their name change their mind, send me a message and I'll happily add you whenever I get a chance.

I also want to announce that I am working on completing the first single off When We Arrive, and it's going to be called "Superhero." It will be a collaboration with Amarillo based lyricist Adair Lion, a friend of mine whom I went to school with at UT-Austin.  I've basically completed the beat already; at this point we're just working on writing the track.  I hope to have it released sometime this summer and I'll be sure to keep posting regular updates once the album recording begins.  I'll be working with my engineer Max Cidon, who helped me out with the Awaiting the Arrival mixtape and did a great job.  With this being a full blown album, however, we plan on spending extra time working the mixes to CD quality.

Before I even get started, I'd just like to thank you all for your contributions and helping me make this dream a reality.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you.  This entire experience has been unreal; this has been a project on hold for three years and I'm excited to finally get started.

Apologies for just now thanking you all; the site requires a 14 day hold period before I could pull the funds and get started.  I haven't been sitting by idly though; I've been promoting the project at SXSW and working on my website (more on that in a bit).  I just wanted to take a second to give you all an outline for what I'll be working on the next few months.

The bulk of the money is for paying musicians to play on my tracks.  In no particular order, I need: a piano player, a percussionist, a saxaphonist, a guitar player (classically trained), a drummer, accordion, flute, bass, etc.  There's a few more I haven't listed, but you get the idea.  The rest is for the studio time I will need to record them, as well as pressing albums- nobody buys them anymore, so it won't be too many, but if nothing else, I owe most of you a free copy.  You basically pre-ordered it if you donated $10 or more.

Here's the plan for the next few months:

1.  Finish the website.  I'm only a few days away from having it complete.  For those of you that donated $50 or more, your name will be appearing in the special thanks section of my site.  If you can, please message me with your full name, or your name as you'd like it to appear on the website- otherwise I will go with whatever name you provided in my backer report.  The site will be going live within a week, so if you can, please respond ASAP.

2.  Recruit.  Now that I have the funding I need, I will spend the next two months looking for and hiring the people I need to finish the tracks.  Between artists I find downtown and the many talented students at the University of Texas, I should find everyone I need here in Austin.

3.  Continue pushing "Awaiting the Arrival."  As proud as I am of what I've accomplished so far, I'm still an unknown here in the city, so I'll be looking to perform around town soon.  I'll post shows on the website once it's complete.

Recording will start in early summer, either late May or early June, depending on how soon I can get preparations done.  I'll post an update every two weeks or so for those of you that want to stay in the loop.   For now, thank you all and God Bless.
