How goes L+L? any art proofs yet or anything?
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on March 29
@Brian: We noticed that wording snafu, too. The rules will specify that FC card abilities count as action cards in the next rules iteration. We'll post a link here once it's online.

Creator Brian May on March 29
See we were originally playing Mirror Bean that way until you read the actual card and it specifies action cards, nothing about FC cards since they are not action cards.
We've been playing Dust Bowl on a per player instance, likely we will introduce a rule variant to allow the option to play it on on the entire group or just a player with a crop cost penalty for the variant usage.
Creator Randall on March 29
Hey Brain, I'm sure they will come in and correct me if I make a mistake but when I was running the demo at GenCon, I was informed that Mirror Bean was not affected by flame fruit. He be unstoppable to everything!
Dust Bowl effects everyone, but usually I'll play it when it will most hurt whoever I think has the current lead or if I've got some foul manures down to keep myself safe and hurt everyone else.
Hope that answers your question!
Creator Brian May on March 25
If anyone is still reading posts here, two quetions:
1. How are you guys/gals using Dust Bowl? Are you using it against a player OR are you using it against all players?
2. Has anyone been using Flame Fruit against Mirror Bean? Mirror Bean states that no action cards can be used against it, Flame Fruit however is a crop card.
I am interested in how everyone has been playing since there isn't really a forum that I have been able to find.

Strange, I just came here to see if there were any comments about Livestocked and Loaded and behold, someone else had the same thought!
Glad to hear you guys are on track and super excited about the new cards!
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on March 13
@Brian: We're on track for Summer 2013. Erin Fusco will be doing the artwork for it, and will be getting started on it once she is finished with Baldrick's Tomb.
Best,
Phil

So, any update on Livestocked and Loaded? What is the ETA?
Creator Grant Rodiek on January 21
Hi David -- thanks for that feedback! The game can be ordered in a variety of places. You can get it directly from the publisher at 5thstreetgames.com. You can also find it on Amazon, Funagain, CoolstuffInc, as well as game stores around the USA.
Creator David McNichols on January 7
We've been playing and the game is better than I imagined! My most recent opponent has asked which stores or from which website he might order his own copy (since I refused to sell him mine at a significant markup)!
Creator Marco Grimm on October 20, 2012
Hi,
I'm sad... nothing arrived till now. Can you please check?
Creator Grant Rodiek on September 9, 2012
Hi Farmers! We did a few more tests of Livestocked and Loaded this week. Only 3 Weather cards changed. The game is really starting to come together. You can read these new rules here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzjMF9762QWKcW1PUVc2M1JsM28/edit

Awesome backers and Farmers! Board Game Geek is collecting nominations for the Golden Geek Awards. If you are a member of the BGG community and want to support Farmageddon, you can nominate it using this link. I'm trying to get us into the next round for Family Games and Art. Your support, as always, warms our wheat filled hearts. http://boardgamegeek.com/geekawards/boardgame

I've posted the latest rules for Livestocked and Loaded here. I think the core of the game is fairly accurate, but we have a LOT of testing still to do in order to have great balance and perfect wording. Also, there's no art to show just yet. Questions, comments, and feedback welcome! https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzjMF9762QWKZ0VMQjNFYzRSQ0E/edit

Wayne! It was awesome to finally meet you at GenCon. And holy smokes it's so cool everyone had so much fun with the game. If you EVER need me to help with the young design folk again do not hesitate to email me.
Creator Wayne Moulton on August 29, 2012
Played it at work the other day. With middle school students from a board game design workshop that Grant so awesomely was a Skype guest. They loved it. We played it all day. Glad I got two copies though because both were being played pretty much constantly.
I also played it tonight at a gathering of gamers and everyone loved it. Can't wait to see what L&L adds to the game.
Thanks again!
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 28, 2012
Hey guys! I'm deep into L&L testing now! I took a photo of the prototype before our game today. Please note the art on the animals is placeholder art from Google Image search. Not even the wood tokens are final! https://twitter.com/#!/HerrohGrant/media/slideshow…
Creator Josh Mann on August 26, 2012
I think the FrankenCrops really add to the game, I would love to buy FrankenCrops Booster packs to include more in my game, there's just not enough of them to be extra fun.
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 20, 2012
HerrTog -- if you want, yes, you can add some more fields. We actually tested with 5 and 6 players and weren't happy with the result. The game played too slowly and there was too much chaos. Some suggestions: Like 2 player, only draw one Action card each turn (but still play up to 2). Play with more Crop cards, but players draw more. 4 fields for 5 players, 5 fields for 6 players. another backer suggested we create a team variant I intend to test. If you have players A, B, C, D, E, and F, players A and D are on a team, B and E are on a Team, and C and F are on a team.
Creator HerrTog on August 20, 2012
If I wanted to increase the amount of players should I just grab another copy of the game an add three more fields? I think so :D
Creator Travis Bradley on August 18, 2012
Got my cards! Have yet to play due to a busy schedule and one grumpy melon card was torn on the edge :( all and all awesome.
Another suggestion for any future tweaking. Having the back of the cards say farmageddon would be nice. not prominently but faded behind the card back images , makes the backs look incomplete without the logo but i have to say its a unique factor.
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 17, 2012
@Pete: You are correct. The posters will ship when I'm back from Gen Con.
Creator Pete Sellers on August 16, 2012
I received my game today, but not everything that was supposed to come with the $75 dollar level. Is that shipping separately?
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 15, 2012
Wow -- so many great comments. I'm smiling from ear to ear here. You guys are amazing.
Creator Sandeep on August 14, 2012
Played our first game and the kids are still giggling about how evil they get to be in this game! Awesome!!
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 14, 2012
@Walker: Sluggo makes a GREAT present; it's the smile. : B
Creator Walker Schlundt on August 14, 2012
Got mine today. Looking great! Christmas presents months before they needed to even be bought!
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 14, 2012
@Mark: Blow up a Sluggo for me!
Creator Mark Brenner on August 14, 2012
Got mine today, both copies packaged great and arrived perfectly. I will play this weekend with any luck!
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 14, 2012
@HerrTog: YES. I look forward to pics of all those Grumpy Melons!
Creator HerrTog on August 14, 2012
Received, thank you. Next summer...I PLANT WATERMELONS.
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 14, 2012
@Daniel: Glad to hear yer enjoyin' it, Daniel. Makes us both smile to hear people are enjoyin' Farmageddon.
Creator Daniel Solis on August 14, 2012
I got my copy and played immediately with my wife. Looooove the new additional cards. The game plays great.
The cards were warped in my box, too, but they straightened out with a few good shuffles. Not a problem at all. The linen finish is top notch, too.
Well done all around, folks. Send my regards to your artists, too! Bang up job.
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 14, 2012
@Andrew: Glad to hear it arrived okay. The cards should straighten out after a few plays. You can also throw a textbook or somethin' heavy on 'em to straighten them out.
Creator Andrew McFadden on August 14, 2012
I received my copy today, and both stacks of cards are warped. Other than that the game looks great.
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 13, 2012
@Nathan: Apologies on that. We'll get a replacement deck of the side you need out Tuesday.
Creator Nathan Kohatsu on August 13, 2012
I just received my copy, and I seem to have an error. The two shrink-wrapped stacks are identical. They both have the communal pumpkin on the top, and are loaded with crop cards. I have no action, planting field, or frankencrop cards. I do, however, have a LOT of grumpy melons and sluggo seed cards! Please advise.
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 13, 2012
@Patrick: No prob! Glad most the kinks are worked out.
@WN Dodd: Thanks for the feedback. It takes major volume to make domestic production feasible. If Farmageddon continues to take off, that may well happen. : ]
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 13, 2012
@WN Dodd Thanks for the feedback.
Creator Scott on August 13, 2012
I just got my two copies today and although it looks good the one copy I opened up had warped cards so Im sure the other one will also
Creator WN Dodd on August 13, 2012
Just got my copy and it looks great! Thanks so much! My only concern is that it is made in China. You might consider looking closer to home in the future. Thanks again!
Creator Patrick McDonald on August 13, 2012
Got my copy on Saturday -- thanks!
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 13, 2012
@Chris Thank you!
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 13, 2012
@Greg This is the best compliment we can receive. Thank you so much!
Creator Grant Rodiek on August 13, 2012
@k3ilbasa I've heard that feedback from a personal friend. It is something for us to consider if we can get a second print run.
Creator k3ilbasa on August 12, 2012
Really fun game. One thing I noticed as I was playing: When trying to keep my hand organized, it was difficult because there was no quick visual identifier that allowed me to separate my crop cards from my action cards. Now obviously I could look at each card and see if it had a fertilizer cost, but that seemed to take too long. If crop cards had a different color border, I think it would make it much easier (obviously a small nag).
Creator Greg on August 12, 2012
Just played a game with my little girl and loved it! The quality is fantastic cards and box and the art thank you.
Creator Chris Memolo on August 12, 2012
Well done, guys. Got my physical copy and it's awesome quality!!
Creator Phillip Kilcrease on August 11, 2012
@Damon: Sluggo helping solve the corn shortage this year... that's a great idea!
@aje007: Thanks for the feedback on box size. Glad everything else is workin' for ya.
Creator Wolfjaw on August 11, 2012
I just got my copy, and I have one issue. There is no space to sleeve my cards. I sleeve the cards in all my games, especially the ones I may not be able to replace from Kickstarter. Please think about this for future revisions. Other than that, everything looks great!
