With the first run about sold out, it's time to run a major printing! The funds pledged to this Kickstarter campaign will go towards producing Castle Dash's next run with better components: better soldier pieces, printed punch-out coins, and a slick two-piece box! Swanky.
Any excess funds pledged will go towards a larger print run of Castle Dash, shipping, and future 5th Street Games projects. We have three additional games ready to go:
- Crow and the Pitcher, a trick-taking game by Sean MacDonald based on Aesop's fable of the same name
- Return of Cthulhu, a 2-Player game of saving the world or destroying it, by Phil Kilcrease
- Make Your Case, a 2-Player game of courtroom control by Phil Kilcrease

-The 3 & 5 player forms of the game have been improved with the Central Castle variant, which places a castle in the center of the table to sit 'across' from every player. This forces players to still defend the front of their castles.

-Better box. The first edition was in a VHS box. This printing will be in an actual 2-part board game box.
-Punch-out cardboard coins. This edition will use printed tokens for the cannonballs and coins instead of plastic discs.

Kickstarter is a risk-free crowdsource funding platform for creative projects. Backers pledge to fund projects they like in exchange for rewards at different levels of pledging.
HOWEVER: the money pledged is collected only if the project meets its funding goal. If the goal is missed by even $1, nobody is charged for their pledges. There is no risk if the project misses its goal.

Why, yes! Each copy of Castle Dash will come with a seventh playable color in the Black Castle Promo Pack, which includes everything needed to play Castle Dash as the Black Kingdom.
ALSO, every copy of Castle Dash will come with a Castle Dash Soldier lapel pin. Both of these exclusives will ONLY be available to Kickstarter backers.
Select pledge levels will also receive a Soldier Pawn Upgrade Pack for each copy of the game received. The $30, $50, and $60 'KNIGHT' level will include Soldier Pawns as pictured in Update 2.
