Kickstarter

Thanks to all the new backers!  We worked some crazy hours this weekend to get barwares clean and looking presentable for an event on Sunday with Teutonic Wines.  It was great and it felt awesome to finally get all the dust up!  Thanks to my husband Tony, and his crazy contraption of a duster duct taped to a 20ft shopvac hose!  My bar manager Conrad worked a ton of hours to get the shelves filled, and Sarah, my general manager, has been conquering the computer and POS to get the menu ready.  We still have a bit of work to do, and the endless saga of our chairs continues!  I hope they are here for the opening..  Last night two of our backers came in and had dinner, it was really great to meet you guys.  Hopefully soon you can come and collect your rewards! We still have to keep pushing so spread the word.  Thanks again!

Wow, what an amazing start to this project.  I can't thank everyone enough for your generosity.  Yesterday was a rough day with more chair mishaps, projection screen dilemmas, among other things.. This really kept me motivated to have all of your support.  Things are chugging along today and we are getting our taps installed for the draft beer in barwares, figuring out how to position a projector, and practicing making furikake carmel popcorn for the bar menu.. (Melting sugar is not my forte..)  I can't wait to have you all in for food and drinks!  Thanks again and keep spreading the word!
