I don't know if you'll get this if I post it here Clay, but your comment is very kind. Also, even if you can't make it to @party, we accept remote entries and have a live stream of competitions, so I hope you'll join us, whether by attending or by watching the live stream. Regards!
I discovered the demoscene back in the mid-90s when I spent a lot of time using BBSs. I haven't seen quite so many productions in recent years, but given the chance to support a North American demoparty, well, I just have to -- it's a rare, generally short-lived creature that reliably is a wonderful event for the attendees.
I may never make it to @party, but even if I don't, I'll end up with some swag that reminds me that I helped keep part of the scene alive. That seems like a great deal to me.
