@Pebblers: You know you want it. You have to have it... Because, you #ENVY it! Get it on your wrist! #VoteForENVY! #ColorMyPebble http://pinterest.com/pin/108930884707585144/

Great looking piece of machinery. I do agree there should be a HRM of some sort as well as some type of water proofing. It doesn't have to go deep, but be able to withstand a hard rain shower. But looking forward to having it on my wrist. Great concept and a beautiful piece of kit.
Creator Luis Garcia on May 2, 2012
some sort of heart rate monitoring would be tops!
Creator Edouard Morrissette on May 1, 2012
Why not waterproofing with LiquiPel? A watch is no use if water kills it! It should resist a day out in the wild while it's raining, or if accidentally taking a shower with it on...
Creator David Curtis on April 27, 2012
I'm a guy... I'd wear pink too...
Creator Christine Bastian on April 21, 2012
+ 1 on Carol's comment from another non-pink female.
Creator simon on April 21, 2012
Great sounding watch - and love the idea of us end-users funding the development directly - you cant get much more involved than that..
My wishlist ~
- waterproof enough for me to kitesurf while wearing (usually 5 bar is ok)
- easily replaceable watchstrap for if (when) it breaks
- backlit display
thanks guys
Creator CAROL L Allen on April 21, 2012
Simon as a female, some of us arent crazy about pink! I like red and blue.
Creator HAL1800 on April 20, 2012
Please, I want mine to do the dishes and automatically clean the pool. I will still be happy with your original design, but it would be better with the new embedded clean pool function :)
Creator Simon on April 20, 2012
I hope that there ends up being a range if colours given the depth of funding, not only "voter's choice". If I had to go with one, I would go Pink make a statement that the Pebble can also appeal to females who usually wouldn't be into gadgets other than their white iPhone.
Creator Joseph Ong on April 20, 2012
Please please please can it have whatsapp functionality! Any developers reading this please let it have whatsapp alerts!
Creator Terence Smith on April 20, 2012
I haven't owned a watch 2 decades - haven't had the need. This is the PERFECT companion to my iPhone - absolutely brilliant concept, and I'm proud to back this project. Well done for the most attractive concept I've seen in years.
Creator jose gomez on April 20, 2012
since I'm trying to lose some weight I would really like it if the watch had an app that can count how much calories I lose while doing activities.
Creator Michael Lindahl on April 20, 2012
I would love to see a more durable material as well! A Carbon Fiber watch would be awesome!
Creator Steven Kalz on April 20, 2012
I would like to see Carbon-Fiber for a case If possibal.
Creator Travis Smith on April 20, 2012
As I will be wearing this as my daily watch and my GPS for running I'd like to see the screen made out of the hardest most durable material available. I take good care of my watches, phone etc. but you never know! What a great product, I can't wait to try it out.
Creator Nic Goodman on April 20, 2012
mmm, stainless steel/titanium/brushed-aluminium with a dark brown leather strap = damn sexy
Creator Mark Wood on April 20, 2012
My periodic reminder to all of us backers asking for circuitboard changes (bt4, inductive or solar\ or kinetic charging, larger screens, mic, beeper, speaker, solid-state-laser-death-ray)
=-=
to add *anything* = major circuitboard redesign =
+1 month to re-design and re-code the OS / device-drivers and case-test everything
+1 month for testing and QA
+1 month for FCC re-certification if you're really lucky, before you can order parts
=-=
THEY'VE ALREADY STARTED ORDERING PARTS ... THE BOARD DESIGN IS FINAL
NOTHING CAN BE ADDED OR CHANGED AT THIS STAGE OF PRODUCTION ON DEADLINE
=-=
All of your (I agree) suggestions will go towards Pebble version 2 ... & I'll buy one of those too
For a September delivery date, they have NO time to change anything on the circuitboard
=-=
... except the external cosmetics like making the case more rubbery-waterproof or maybe choosing case materials and colors (like the brushed-aluminum / titanium suggestions or maybe ideas for the watchbands or spare cables / mUSB-adapters (which would be rather convenient)
Creator Steven on April 20, 2012
Stainless would be great, Bluetooth 4.0 seems perfect for this application, mic and speaker would be cool, ability to connect phone, headset, and watch is a must
Creator Sean O'Connell on April 20, 2012
I want to see good android support for this and I really need an app that can manage a task list for me and let other people put tasks on that same list.
Creator Tim Towe on April 20, 2012
Is the app available at the time for Iphone, or will it push closer to when the watch is available?
Creator MAHMOUD ABDULLAH on April 20, 2012
Great project
I have a suggestion Why not be Pebble watch working on two devices at the same time as some Bluetooth headsets ...
An example of this Bluetooth headset Jawbone Icon.

Creator Court on April 20, 2012
Congrats guys! Can't wait for my pebble!
On a side note, a charging cradle of some sort would be much welcomed!
Creator Jim Archer on April 20, 2012
What are the dimensions of just the display? Also, how thick is the Pebble?
Creator Jim Archer on April 20, 2012
Any chance you can increase the number of "hacker special" offers? I'm sure I'm not the only developer who missed that boat but would like to board...
Creator Nathan Schmitt on April 20, 2012
Congrats on the huge milestone!
I agree with the other posters that Bluetooth 4.0 would probably be awesome for it's low energy use. However, I also know that the low energy BT chips cost a little more to put in. I would be willing to shell out an extra $5-10 if the battery life improvement was significant enough but I feel that standard Bluetooth is adequate and I will not be disappointed either way.
Creator David Nierhoff on April 20, 2012
I would prefer seeing a solar charger (in the strip or in the Body) in the Pebble.
Creator Jeff Christoffersen on April 20, 2012
Another vote for BT 4.0.
Creator Cold-1 on April 20, 2012
A solar charging strip, decently hidden, would be cool (see Casio watches) and would extend the battery time significantly.
Creator Imrann on April 20, 2012
Real water resistant features like 10 or 20 ATM would be great .
Creator Simon Foong on April 20, 2012
i like the TikTok+LunaTik watch strap.I would like to have holes becoz of sweaty wrist esp in tropical whether.
Creator Mike Bridge on April 20, 2012

Creator Joe Searle on April 19, 2012
Bluetooth 4.0 would take this watch to the next level!
Creator Maerickson86 on April 19, 2012
I do like the thought of Bluetooth 4.0, if only for the possible increase in battery life.
Creator Damian on April 19, 2012
@Daniel: I disagree. I really dont like proprietary USB interfaces on devices but in this case I would definitely make an exception for waterproofing. Sweat, rain, or forgetting to take it off when going for shower or swim would mean the end of the watch..
Creator Kevin Hasley on April 19, 2012
Why does people want larger?
Creator Kevin Hasley on April 19, 2012
Sorry if someone said this, but a charging stand would be great. A neat little stand with either a magnetic power connector or wireless. OR what about a mouse pad that doubles as a charging pad for the watch? Or how about inductive charging via movement.
Creator Kevin Hasley on April 19, 2012
Agree with Bluetooth 4.0 BUT not larger screen. Larger is NOT better. If you do this, treat as samsung does and give us screen options
Creator Kie Rhee on April 19, 2012
@Daniel: from what I can see of the initial prototypes, there never was a micro USB plug in the first place...?
Creator Daniel Herzberg Karpantschof on April 19, 2012
Please, oh please, don't replace the micro-USB plug with some proprietary interface - even if it means no waterproof action(!).
Creator Dereck Hall on April 19, 2012
agree w/ the slightly larger screen & bluetooth 4.0.
Creator Alex Fischer on April 19, 2012
Count me in for those who would love Bluetooth 4.0. Though there aren't a whole lot of devices that support it now, by the time Pebble releases there will be a lot more devices that could take advantage of it.
Creator Alessandro Paltera on April 19, 2012
A larger screen would be appreciated. Just a bit wider...4-5mm to fit the watch screen perfectly
Creator Nate Falu Febres on April 19, 2012
I bet $ 10 they will end up with $15 million by the time this is over...
Creator Neal on April 19, 2012
wow. almost at 5.5mill. I have a feeling all the pledges arent going to make it once the bill comes, but i cant wait for mine to arive. been wanting a cool watch for a while, and this fits the bill perfectly.
Creator Phil Merricks on April 19, 2012
Alas, Google Voice is STILL not available outside America.
Creator Gregory Hilkert on April 19, 2012
@Garrett Olin One of the befits of Google Voice is free text messages to everyone all the time if you use the app as opposed to forwarding messages to your phone. And if the pebble app could receive notification from the GV app on iOS it could show them on your watch also.
Creator Garrett Olin [GOdesign] on April 19, 2012
@JimLin That may address phone text messages, but one of the benifits of iOS is iMessages, free iOS to iOS.
Creator Jim Lin on April 19, 2012
For iPhone text messages, get a Google voice # and route text messages through that service. Google voice can forward msg to your iPhone and hopefully to the Pebble watch as well. We just need a Pebble app for that.
Creator Alok Choudhary on April 19, 2012
I read about the BT4.0. I know you guys should be at the last stage of product design for mass product, It could be too late, But I guess every back would like to have BT4.0 in their watch rather than you guys are introducing it later. Just give it a thought. And Do the right. I know you are more concern than anyone over here. As being technology lover, I want you to be the best and not disappoint your initial backers. As they says. Friend in need a friend indeed ;)
