      I guess this is turning into another bad experience with backing projects on Kickstarter. Still haven't received my Pebble… but looking at the alternatives out there and the quality problems I read about on the forum I start to wonder whether I still want/need one? Was anybody successful in getting a refund from Pebble Technology?

      @Derek C: yeah, when i said red cap i meant what face, I attached a folder with 2 picture of what I mean and 2 different stages of my broken screen in 2 videos.

      I'm not sure if it's visible in the picture but apart from a slight glow in the right side that I know is just a little light reflecting, theres, a noticeable whiteish line between the screen and the cover that looks like the adhesive and a small smudge in the side... but i don't think you can see it in the pic.. hopefully they will respond soon so that I can get a replacement.

      I've also been looking at the top casing for last couple of minutes and I've noticed that the red cap wasn't painted all that well, i can see smudges and even the adhesive under it... Has any one else seen this?

      My new red pebble with less than a day has gone from flickering screen to only the backlight working, and I did't even get the chance to use it...
      So many people in my country were waiting for it to see if it worked well before purchasing, now every one has backed out: Bad Pebble? no Costumers

      Got my pebble today, used it for 10 min and the screen started flickering and won't stop, I've tried rebooting and returning to factory settings, deleted all watch faces and nothing, waiting for a response to get a replacement. -.- waiting for a year and it came broken

      Reveived my Pebble last week, use it for 5 days and then completely dead ! Try to charge it but nothing happen ?

      Received the red Pebble that I got for my wife a week ago, and we are both very happy with it. Battery life is very reasonable. My wife has a disease that destroys sight and hearing, and having the Pebble's vibratory notifications lets her know instantly that she's gotten a message on her iPhone and she can read it with a Braille display attached to the phone. Before Pebble, she had to keep the phone and display handy and check periodically if anything came in. Now, she has set the phone and Pebble up to buzz her of just important messages.

      As a developer, I'm eager to get hold of the Pebble SDK. I hope to be able to modify the notification vibration to provide her with different vibration patterns based on the content or source of the alert (email, SMS, weather, our security system, home automation, etc.).

      The Pebble is already proving to be a handy device for those with vision and/or hearing issues. Now I wish I'd backed for two, because my wife may be reluctant to loan me hers to tinker with!

      Hi folks, got my black pebble in the UK today. I'm very impressed with the watch and with what I've figured out it can do so far but have a concern over the feel of the middle 'select' button. Its not very sensitive (compared with the other 3) and I have to use my whole hand, thumb on LHS lower corner to squeeze the watch to get it to register a press. Not much use while cycling! Maybe it'll ease. Anyone else with this issue? Good effort though Pebble! Cheers, J

      @Phillip Lamb Not sure if it is the same in France with your local carrier, but in the UK the Singpost tracking number worked fine in the Royal Mail track and trace service on their website, but only once the parcel arrived in the UK.

      Update, 24 hours after my comment, I have a shipping confirmation + tracking number. Unfortunately it seems that the tracking number is useless once the package leaves Singapore as there's apparently no tracking for France or most of Europe. Seems a bit silly, and one wonders why a bigger (and presumably more reliable) delivery service like DHL/UPS/FedEx was not used... We'll see how long it takes to show up.

      Got my Black Pebble just over 2-weeks ago now. Everything has been smooth on Android, but less so on iOS, unfortunately - (in terms of persistent notifications and bluetooth connection). Hopefully how Pebble functions with iOS can be fixed via an update to Pebble's firmware, or the official iOS app. If not, looks like it's the Bluetooth MAP profile in iOS 6 which might be causing some issues with currently non-supported third-party apps being able to deliver notifications to the watch, persistently. That would then be down to Apple to come up with a fix. Granted, that's the unwanted result -- as, I'm guessing, Apple probably won't want to fix the issues with Pebble and iOS if reports about the “iWatch” have any weight behind them. Other than that, I'm just waiting on the dedicated Pebble IFTTT channel to launch with a bunch of actions, and (hopefully), some triggers.

      The 4200 Agent watches are just the initial December (hopefully) batch. If they sell out (which looks like when from the first 12 hours it's been available), they'll release a January batch etc.

      Hopefully they've learned the lessons from Pebble that if you promise 1,000 people a watch, 81,000 you didn't expect are annoyed it's not their watch.

      The AGENT looks like a nice idea for a project. However, I've been burned by too many KS projects. It's easy to make promises, but it seems like it gets harder and harder to keep them. The "savings" of getting in on a project early just doesn't make up for the times when a project ends up being 6/12/18/24+ months late and doesn't work as well as promised. So, if those 4200 AGENT watches actually get produced and become popular, I'll pay the extra for version 1.1.

      Two weeks ago I got the 'please confirm' email. Confirmed my address. The same email had mentioned a two week delay. As it's been two weeks, I emailed kickstarter@pebble to ask if they had a tracking number, received an autoreponse stating "We are currently experiencing a higher-than-average amount of emails as we start shipping more pebbles to our backers."

      This email seems to date to April 9 ("As of April 9, we've shipped almost all of the 55k Jet Black kickstarter pebbles. We expect red pebbles to start shipping to backers by the end of April...")

      So... they set up an autoresponder and never bothered to update the text?

      Hey guys, I'd really appreciate some more frequent updates on the status of the color pebbles. Specifically, I care about the white version, but I think everyone that is still waiting would agree that you should give an update and break it down by which colors you expect to ship first, in what order, and how long it will take between colors.

      I think a lot of us been far more than reasonable asking only for more communication, not our money back and not even a promise that you'll hit a certain deadline. I understand you guys are a start-up, got far more orders than you could have imagined, and a lot of things are out of your control, but the one thing that is in your control is how well you communicate with your customers. Please step-up to the plate.
