Update #9: All Rewards Shipped!
Just got back from the post office and all but one order has been shipped! I'm quite happy with this project and where I'm headed with papercrafted.com I will probably share a little more later in the week but for now enjoy these images of the artist edition steam punk mouse. It comes in a little shiny copper box.
As allways if you find something amiss with your order, do not hesitate to contact me about it. I will make it right!
Update #8: Assembly videos are up!

Thanks Steve! I'm really happy with the bow this time around, it's So much easier to make and use than the previous toy.
I'm thinking the next mouse will be a samurai and after that i will see what period I want to fill out with more characters.

Update #6: Guest star expansion artwork
Hi peoples! here is the artwork for the guest star expansion. i should have the adress surveys going out by the end of the week. and start shipping around the end of the month.

OMG SO EXCITE!
Progress is being made and a little bit magic as well. In a few weeks the work will be done and the play can commence! i will update the project again in about a week with a preview of the modest Medusa and chapel chronicles BSchess pieces.

The cutter is a Silhouette SD, it's a very low end cutter and i'm probably going to upgrade once i have the funds. it will cut most roll vinyl and you can force it to cut up to 100 pound cardstock if you are careful and use two cutting passes. i use an illustrator plug in for kit development and then export those designs to it's own software for production cutting.
the process is sort of a hack so it takes some time and trial and error to get it working.

I have actually gone to look at roland's print-n-cut stuff, it's capable and i'm sure it's worth the cost in the long run. but i will probably upgrade to a click n cut zing when the time comes, maybe if things go really well and i can set up in a larger footprint i could pick up a flat bed cutter. i would love to start working with boards and heavier stocks.
As for the print end of roland's low end print n cut machines i'm not sure the printing quality is quite there for my stuff. for game components i need highly legible 6 pt text and the lower end bn20 i saw did not look up to that (it also cuts way slow if your doing pref cutting). i'm sure a higher end roland would work but those are so crazy expensive.

Just got my Bluffing Style Chess and Universal Dice today; they look amazing. I am so looking forward to assembling the chess set. I have to visit a hardware store for some flat washers first, though. I'd use pennies, but my 7yo son doesn't let me keep any pennies. :D
Looking forward to seeing what new products you develop for your website in the future.
