About this project
Synopsis:
The film focuses on a young boys relationship with his father... We "tune" in for about five minutes every day over the course of a week and get a glimpse into the bond between father and son. A bond which is ultimately disrupted, leaving the boy alone to find friendship in an unlikely place.
Contributions:
All money donated will be used to produce the film. From location permits to rental insurance. Contributions will be used to hire industry professionals and rent top of the line gear. Shooting a film of any length is expensive... especially if it is done right. Your money will help prevent this from looking like another youtube video :)
In addition to bringing a professional look to this film, all those that do pledge will receive something from us to show our gratitude.

What is Turkey in the Straw?
The title "Turkey in the Straw" actually comes from the familiar tune played by ice-cream trucks.... It is during the trucks stop that we witness the interaction of this neighborhood and the events that unfold.

About us....
Josh and Daniel have worked in the film industry for almost ten years. They have been cameramen on several feature films and television shows in addition to working as still photographers. This is their first effort as a directing team.
