About this project
A bitter old man, recovering from the death of his wife, finds hope through an encounter with a miraculous flower.
Director Sarah Williams has a passion for people. Along with that passion is the love of storytelling. Out of such a mind came the story of Mr. Thomson. The 60 year old man has lost his wife, and with her his faith. Letting go isn't easy and Mr. Thomson still tends to the barren rooftop garden Margerie used to keep lush and pristine. While tending to the garden, he encounters a quickly growing, 10 foot tall flower that reminds him of Margerie, eloquent and lovely. This short film profiles the now begrudged man's search for hope and the peace of redemption.
Life is temporary but God's love is eternal.
