I didn't get a survey or anything thus far.
Captain Level. Not Blu-Ray just ole fashion VHS ooops I mean DVD... As for Doug etc,,, every production ALWAYS mutates right up until it is shipped out or on screen. With luck it always mutates to the better. So it is far better that Doug is out now than any problems at the end of the production... So, it's OK with me :-)

I found the reason on Facebook and now understand the change, what with Doug Drexler parting ways with the project and it origination with him.

Hopefully REDEMPTION will be a working title that will develop into something more evocative and distinct.

I loved the play on "How the west was won" with your title "How the Solar System was won" and thought it evoked the frontier/explorer ethos that you were going for and the more traditional mode of Retro hero and the level of possible utopianism that the project was striving for.

Not sure that the new title of REDEMPTION (Which sounds like a subtitle for a summer blockbuster sequel) really captures this and it does get lost among other single word titles.

Did it change because of focus groups or did you run into IP/Trandmark issues?

I'm sure it is still the same piece of writing but good sci fi titles normally tend to have homage or intelligent references in them.

In your opinion how does REDEMPTION make this stand out from the pack and make it a worthy title change?

I don't remember getting a survey either. I may have and forgot about it, but I was a Special LT. Commander who upgraded to blu-ray as well.

Just a quick question Mark; we filled out the survey but it had us down at the wrong level (though on we're on the correct level at http://spacecommandmovie.com/ranking-lieutenant/) and without the blu-ray upgrade, we marked out the correct level on the survey and noted it should have the blu-ray upgrade so does this mean that things have been corrected and we'll get the blu-ray?
Also we didn't select to pre-order the next film but will there be another opportunity to at a later date?

Can't wait to see this!

Yes, I received the survey, and it was correct. I was sorry to see "Stickam" vanish from the internet. Were you able to save the videos? My buddy Vanessa is a top stunt person/actor is you have any slots open.

I don't recall getting any kind of survey about this -- how can I find out if I did & just forgot about it? I'm at the "Special LCDR" level and I don't care about Blu-Ray. And any personal info on a response form would also have a different name from what I've used here.

I can try to remember to check the website occasionally but I don't do Facebook so I hope nothing important is put on *just* FB.

How will we check we are getting the "early bird and other upgrades" that were promised for pledging early (Like the free upgrade to a bluray)? Will these be upgraded by hand @ your end or are they to be filled in with the final Kickstarter survey?

Alas nothing new here, the pledge level on the Surveymonkey form is correct but doesn't include the Blu-ray upgrade I opted for and of course the address form won't pass muster as it doesn't allow for a non-us state/county to be entered. As with some of the others I would like to know what Empire is in relation to what our existing pledge has secured us.

Got the email from surveymonkey too. It listed me as the correct pledge level, but the survey is faulty and doesn't work.

Problem: When writing the address a choice from the 'state' selection is required, but as I am not a resident in the USA none of the options make sense to pick. You need to redo your survey with international backers in mind if you want us to be able to actually complete it without getting stuck in a 'reuires answer' error message.

Also, maybe I didn't pay enough attention, but what is "Space Command: Empire" ? I pledged to get the space command dvd's, so was puzzled by the question asking about pre-ordering "Space command:Empire" when I had no idea if that was what you called the dvd's I would already be getting, or if that was something else.

Also, for the love of all that is holy: Make an update when you spring something like this on us, as alot of us wondered if it was really you or if it was random scammers trying to get addresses from people.

My understanding was that Kickstarter only lets you send one survey in total per project, so perhaps that's why they used Surveymonkey. That said, I also got a cadet survey despite being a higher level and am reluctant to put my address into it without confirmation of its authenticity - I'd prefer details like that were drawn from the kickstarter survey.

I just got a survey that claimed to be from Space Command, but it was through surveymonkey rather than KS's built-in survey mechanism, came from spacecommandstudio.com rather than ...movie.com, and had my contribution level wrong. Is this legit, or is someone trying to spoof you?
