Bethany Dailey has been enjoying the creative challenges of the art of loom knitting for the past 6 years. Along with creating and teaching patterns for her website, she has been able to participate in two loom knitting books: Loom Knitting Pattern Book and Loom Knitting Socks, both by Isela Phelps; as well as for Provo Crafts and the Loom Knitter’s Circle Magazine. She currently resides in Washington State, and is happily encouraged in every way by her husband and two teenage daughters.
Congrats again Bethany! We are all so happy that it went through for you & for the organization as well. Like Jeannette I will probably order a kit once I get the book to also help a little more. Thanks for letting us participate!
Bethany, So happy this project went through. I know it will be a blessing to others. I was fortunate enough to see Steven Curtis Chapman in concert after he returned to touring following the death of his sweet daughter. His testimony of how God walked him and his family through this tragedy brought tears to my eyes and his continued trust in the Lord strengthened my own walk. God bless you girlfriend!
Congrats Bethany! I am glad it went through!
Hi Kristen! :) hmmm...you're not the first person to say they didn't receive it yet. Did you get an email about an update through Kickstarter? This is where it was delivered. You should also be able to see the post with the link right there on the updates tab (listed as a "backers only" post). Let me know if this is not the case and you can't locate it and I'll forward it to you asap! :)
Bethany~
I didn't get the email about the sweet pea yet. Did it go out or will it be after funding? Thanks!
Bethany, this is such a great project and I love what I have seen so far. I'm excited to start the projects, especially the bag and wristlet gloves made from the yarn that is helping out others. I will order a kit when the book gets going. Can't wait to get it.
Stasia referred me originally! I'm a backer!! I'm super excited about that phone call. LOL.....um and the loom from Markham
You're amazing Beth! :) I ordered my mom a copy!
Your video is so wonderful and just increases my respect for you and honor in being part of your group. Your knowledge and passion is coming through in this project. I can't wait to make these different patterns for my grand nephew and for charities. Thank you for putting it together.
Thanks Bethany for sharing in this opportunity with us! I just feel the Lord has led you to this and he will help you meet your goal. I've enjoyed our many emails through the years and all the help you have given me as well. Although right now I really don't have any small children to make for, I still look forward to making some of your projects to put up for a special occasion. ;o) God Bless you!
Thanks, Bethany (and knitter helpers) for producing this book. I have a few customers who wanted items patterned for adults to fit their children. I have been adjusting sizes through guesswork to make some items fit small children and toddlers. Now I won't have so much guesswork and with a better fit!
Bethany, you did such a beautiful job on your presentation, and I just wanted to cry when hearing about your difficulties with wanting a son. There is no question in my mind that our LORD has chosen you, such a loving and talented lady, to share HIS love with His little ones by starting with this darling book. We will all be able to share love this way, through the making and giving of items from your creative patterns as loom knitters! We loom knitters will be able to reach the whole world with a little bits of yarn and lots of love :) Congratulations to you and your wonderful family :)
Hi Bethany...wanted to say what a great presentation you did...was so impressed that I pledged 30 dollars (all I can afford because I am on a fixed income). I sincerely hope you reach your goal but then again I know you will because your charity sounds so worthwhile. Oh just wanted to let you know that I go by Candi Smith on facebook so when you sign my book I hope you will use Candi...you are so talented and I am proud to call you a friend!!!
I'm so excited about your book! I look forward to seeing it. I just know you'll reach your goal. - Kelly Jones
