Dear all will helped with When I Walk

Thank you for your contribution to the production of my documentary When I Walk - appreciate your support. When I Walk had an amazing reception at the Sundance Film Festival – every screening was sold out with standing ovations, and it received lots of great reviews from film critics. The film tells the story of life with multiple sclerosis and disability, but has universal truths of triumph over tragedy – a human experience we all can relate to.
Now begins my dream. I want the film to be available in theaters so that so many can experience the film as it was meant to be on the big screen. Doing so is expensive, so I humbly ask for your support once again in making this happen. I started a final Kickstarter campaign

After all these years and all these trials, When I Walk will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2013.

You can’t imagine how excited I am! However, I am weeks away from the premiere of the film so there are 1 billion things that need to be done.

 Sad to say, that I must be ending my Kickstarter campaign in only a week! It's been overwhelmingly successful, and it's not too late to "throw in your hat" and contribute for some great rewards.Things like:  your name on the website "When I Walk", a copy of the film on DVD when it's released, and a hand-picked selection of some of my older award-winning films that were featured on PBS, HBO, and at the Sundance film Festival.
 
I want to introduce my new project! Being in a wheelchair, getting where I need to go can be challenging.  I often have trouble going to stores, even finding bathrooms that are accessible

So I created AXS Map: an online and mobile map where anyone can search for accessible places, or review them on a scale from 1 to 5 for accessibility.

First off, thank you for the overwhelming support for my film “When I Walk” www.wheniwalk.com. This is been surprisingly successful in a short period of time–I didn't realize the power that crowd–sourced funding like this Kickstarter campaign has!

With that being said, I am humbly raising the bar on the funding goal for the campaign to $13,000. We've reached this far in just two weeks (over double the goal) so with over 40 days remaining, this is something that is going to be more than possible. Please do pass this campaign on to friends and family–we can make this happen!
