A production of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov in a new translation by Jacob Clary, director.
Wood Demon Art Theatre is a small group of students, actors, and artists under the direction of Jacob Clary, an amateur theatre director and student of the Russian Language at Portland State University. Our first production is a staging of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, translated by the director and currently in rehearsal. We are presenting the play in minimal, evocative design in an intimate setting. Your donations will be used to cover the expenses of set pieces, props, costumes, and a small press edition of the play. Any excess funds will be saved for future productions.
