Think Toys is an idea I've had in my heart for quite some time now... three years to be exact; that's when my oldest child was born. It was then I realized how expensive proper learning toys were. Each day I scoured the internet searching for ways to play with my baby but also to begin his journey of education in our home classroom setting. Each time I fell in love with a new toy my hopes were dashed as soon as I got to the payment screen and realized how pricey the item was going to be.

I have always been good with crafts, and spent hours before my children were born bent over my hot-glue gun creating the kaleidescope of junk I had in my head. I decided one day while bouncing my then-six-month-old on my knee that I was going to make his next great learning toy.

After doing our nightly routine of bath, story, cuddles, another story, more cuddles, a song, changing out our bedtime companion selection (a stuffed whale, lion, bear, manatee, monkey, and sometimes all of them) and finally, eventually, going to sleep, I got to work. I thought about what toys my child would love, how to incorporate his favorite colors, how to get him to perform simple math, reading, and science without even knowing it! I set out to create toys that would not only engage his sense of imaginative play and creativity, but his mind. How could I make him think about his toys in a different way? That very night, Think Toys was born. It is a labor of love, it is my dream for my children shared with you.

I want to share my vision with the rest of the world, but right now I'm very limited as I can only order supplies when I can afford them. I have started a Facebook page to share Think Toys with as many people as I can, but this still isn't enough. I operate mainly through local expo events, farmer's markets, and trade shows. Currently the only way I can do this is to order supplies three weeks in advance of each event so I can make the products in time. Right now, ordering the supplies I need to fulfill the demand just isn't practical or cost effective. I need your help. Please help me raise enough money to finally get ahead and order what I need to really take my heart into the world, and show parents how easy it can be to put GOOD toys into their kids' hands. 

In order to stock enough supplies to have demos available when we visit local schools and group homes, and also have enough to sell on demand we need to stock at least 6 of each of our products (as seen here). With an average cost of $10 per product that breaks down to this: 6x14x$10=$840. So the $1,000 we're asking for will cover the cost of raw materials, plus shipping and packaging. Your generous help will help Think Toys to get out of our current "Just In Time" demand and supply cycle.
