Me Like Me. You Like You.

(an album about why being part of a family is so totally kinda super awesome!)

Hi guys.

My name is Nickella Dee.  I am a stay-home mama of 2, piano teacher, and volunteer co-director of the all-school spring musical every year!  Between packing lunches, schlepping children, folding undies, and picking up doggie doo, I have decided to launch this kickstarter campaign! 

I am a closet singer/songwriter who has written some tunes I know adults and children can both enjoy as a family. I am just a regular mama who loves to play piano and is teaming up with a violinist, a drummer, a back-up vocals buddy of mine, and a crowd of totally awe-inspiring little monsters (aka children) to create this original family album.

My songs are about unicorns, pirates, family road trips, trains, swimming, pink balloons, and much much more...I have been playing the piano for years, but recently started putting my stuff out there in the universe so somebody besides my husband, my kids, my dog, and my fish could listen.

I have lots of family-friendly cool rewards to offer in return for your support.  I am on a mission to make "Me Like Me. You Like You." this summer of 2012 and turn this little dream of mine into a reality. 

We need to raise a little chunk of money to help cover the costs of the recording studio, the engineer, the mixing, the mastering, the cd copies, the artwork, and the musician talent.  I know we can do this with your help!
