About Us: The Press Bed is a small textile design studio located in Boston, MA. We believe in making quality shirts manufactured and printed in America. Our new line of tees is an expression of this central belief: a comfortable 100% cotton tee featuring a design for every state in the country.

The Shirt: We've been working hard on creating the perfect tee--our own private label garment. The shirt will be made of 100% cotton and sewn to our style specifications. They will be manufactured in California and shipped to Massachusetts where the shirts will be dyed and finished to have an ultra-soft vintage feel. Each shirt will be printed by hand, using water-based inks, and feature a hang tag describing the historical state elements found in each design. Putting this shirt into manufacturing requires a large upfront investment. Your pledge pre-orders you one of our shirts and simultaneously allows us the opportunity to put our shirts into production. 

The Design: Over the next few months, we will release the remaining 49 state designs. Each design is crafted with the state and its residents in mind. We are focusing on historical imagery and easily recognizable icons. The shirts are an expression of the places you call home, so we'll need your help! When you pledge, write us a note about what is important to your state and what images you'd like to see featured. We'll also take your interest in mind when releasing the designs--the more votes for your home state, the sooner it will be available for sale!
