About this project
We have just been offered a deal with a great distribution company that will help us get our books in more bookstores and libraries, but to follow through we must raise the money needed to print our books. If you believe in underground poetry or love, you can support Write Bloody Publishing by helping us raise the funds needed to take advantage of this opportunity that will bring our Write Bloody family to the next level.
Write Bloody Publishing is a unique independent press with a focus on poetry and fiction. We also push the new Write Fuzzy brand for unique and weird children’s books. Our design team has been pulled from all over America. We are proud of our unique style by utilizing modern painters, photographers and rock album designers for all our book cover art. We publish and promote 6-12 tour savvy authors per year. We are grass roots, DIY, boot strap believers. Our employees are authors and artists so we call ourselves a family.
$1,000 is the minimum goal we have decided to display, but we need over $9,000. Kickstarter is only one of the three ways we are trying to reach our goal. The money raised will be used to print our current catalog which include award winning authors such as Jeanann Verlee, Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz, Taylor Mali, Anis Mojgani, Andrea Gibson, Karen Finneyfrock, and more. In addition the money will go towards printing Write Bloody's upcoming books by Ben Clark, Beau Sia, Idris Goodwin, C.R Avery, Laura Yes Yes, Paul Suntup, Tara Hardy, and more.
