Help launch Apple & Android apps for the 'Anfield Roar' Liverpool FC fanzine (we'll make it FREE for all Liverpool fans)
This project is all about helping us to make a killer app that will work on multiple platforms, and will allow Liverpool fans to read our fanzine whenever they want and wherever they go. If we manage to hit our funding target, the app will be FREE for all LFC fans, worldwide!
Who are we?
We are Anfield Roar - an independent Liverpool football fanzine - and we want to become the biggest and best online Liverpool fanzine! We've already published four issues online (one a month since August 2012) and have been very well received. We don't do it for a profit, we do it just because we love the club and we love writing about it!

The Problem
At the moment we publish our magazine using issuu, which means that subscribing fans can view our fanzine if they have an internet connection, but sadly can't download the fanzine to read offline - which is a bit of an inconvenience?! :(
We're trying to launch a proper app that will sit in the newstand, but as I'm sure all of you know, learning and testing how to code the app takes time, and time is money :( We're asking as many Liverpool fans as we can find to get involved and help us with the project - if you stump up a little amount now to help us get started, you can all benefit from a killer app and as much Liverpool related content as you could possibly desire!
The App
The app will be coded by Adrian of the Anfield Roar team. He earned a grade A at A-Level Computing over a decade ago, but he has learnt most of the important stuff through hours and hours of trial and error, and self-teaching! He designs and builds websites in his spare time, so this isn't too big a leap for him.
He has previously written two other apps - one was telling you how many days it is until Christmas (not the most complicated of apps, but a good start!) and the other is a database of quiz questions (mainly for people who run quizzes!) We have learnt a lot from those two apps about how it should work best, and the functionality that we want it to have.
Progress
We are currently in the draft stage of designing the app, and will start the building very soon - we want it completed in time to give updates and opinion on the January transfer window!

The biggest risk is creating an app which is horrible, and no-one uses. Having played around with apps for ages, we know exactly how user-friendly and intuitive we want it to be. :)
