20 Days to Go!
Dear friends,
With just 20 days to go on this, our first Kickstarter project, we are 67% funding--which is a great thing. Thank you all SO MUCH for your generous pledges.
As you know, the project does not get funded at all unless we reach 100% of our proposed goal, so now is the time for all of us to reach out to friends, colleagues, family members--anyone we know who is interested in human rights and justice--to let them know about Oscar Lopez Rivera and this important campaign.
Also, we are pleased that Oscar's comrade and now-former political prisoner Carlos Alberto Torres will soon be coming to the US for a short while. While his schedule is quite restricted and limited, do check appropriate calendar listings--or send me a message here--if you want more information about the public events where he'll be speaking.
It's time to bring Oscar home. Let us re-commit and make it happen now...
