Eldred is a small community in Sullivan County in New York State. The school district has less than 700 students in K-12. The Key Elements is a dedicated group of students in grades 7-12.  They started as an auditioned extra curricular group in the Fall of 2010. Since its beginning, the group started with 12 members, and has grown to 21 members. The group has worked tremendously hard in preparing a 10 song album. Seven of the members are seniors this year, and all have been involved with the group since its beginning. 

The goal of this project is to offer the students the opportunity to experience what it is like to record an album, and create a final product that can be listened to 10 years from now, giving the group the chance to remember what the entire experience was like, but also to give you all the opportunity to hear to hard work and dedication of these students. 

Here is a breakdown of what our pledge goal will go towards:

A majority of the money would go to recording time, mixing and mastering with companies who are dedicated to their craft in a cappella recording. Approximate cost of this process will be $4000 alone!

Some more money will go to copyright fees for all songs, since the group will performing cover songs on the entire project. In order to record and perform songs that do not belong to you, a royalty fee must be paid per track per CD. This can add up! An approximate $1000 will be going towards this.

The final $2000 will go towards duplication costs to print CD's for the general public for purchase.

So... $4000 + $1000 + $2000= $7000 plus 1 amazing experience for 21 kids.
