Eric Murphy is a bay area photographer, curator, artist representative and art collector. His photographic career began in 2002, capturing Oakland's urban landscapes. In 1999, Eric was introduced into the field of art through volunteer work with galleries and nonprofit art organizations. Two years later while studying art and photography in Oakland, he began his curatorial practice early on with galleries, Alameda County and Oakland property management facilities.
Eric is currently photographing and curating exhibitions internationally with an upcoming traveling exhibit in Fukuoka, Japan and Oakland, California in celebration of the two sister cities’ 50th anniversary in the summer of 2012.
Thank you John. It was a great effort but unfortunately not successful through this program. However we are still receiving financial support from people who still believe in what we are doing in the arts and honoring this very special addition to Oakland's history. I will contact you shortly on how you can still support the project.
Thank you all for understanding and lending your hand of support. I will contact you shortly.
Thank you,

Wish I could make up the difference!
Was happy to do what I could for James Gayles, and so sorry that this particular project didn't get off the ground.
Keep me posted if there's another attempt in the future. Blessings on all here.
