Update #3: 12 Days to Go----Can we make it???

Posted on June 6, 2010

Dear Friends,

Well, we have 12 days to go in our funding drive to reach our goal of $7500 for the Gandhi Peace Tour 2010.

We're at $3,303 today, with about $1,000 more that folks have said may be possible for them.

I'm starting to think we may have to take a secondary route to have the funding come in.

Y'see, this online system, Kickstarter, only charges your pledged money from your credit card or debit card account if we reach our goal. The response has been great, and $3,303 is nothing to sniff at, especially these days. But it's starting to look like we might reach $4,000 or so, but not $7500.

So I'm wondering if we can choose a second option, and if you've pledged to fund our project, if you'll just send me a check instead? Again, if we don't reach our goal, you won't be charged, so there's no risk to be paying twice.

I'll post an email to everyone asking the same question, and, if you're willing to just send me a check for the amount you've pledged, just email me at donmcavinchey@comcast.net and let me know so.

This is still a great success, and we're still heading to India!

I'll look for your response.

Thanks so very much!

Don

Update #2: 16 Days to Go--Can you help spread the word?

Posted on June 2, 2010

We have 16 days to go in our Kickstarter campaign, and we're a bit less than half-way to our goal of $7,500.

Can you help spread the word?

We could use you contacting your friends, relatives, anyone you can think of who might be open to helping our effort for a documentary film of our Gandhi Peace Tour 2010.

If I can be of any help, let me know.

And thanks so much!

Don
