The WNYBAC gang would like to thank each and every one of you who donated to our Kickstarter campaign to save wood type.  We understand that this is a difficult time financially for everyone, and we are humbled by the overwhelming response.

Rest assured, we've secured a number of wood type fonts and we're already cleaning and cataloging them!  More to come on that, and we'll be posting pictures and narratives on our blog.

AND:  We've already printed a number of specimen sheets from early type donations and newly acquired fonts, so that means, your specimen sheets are on the way!  We hope you love them as much as we do.

If you donated at the $100 dollar level, we owe you 9 specimen sheets, and those will be on the way soon.  If you haven't filled out the survey yet, do it now, we need your address. 

In the meantime, we'll send out a couple more updates showing pics of the new wood type, specimen sheets underway, and projects your donations made possible.

Thanks to every single one of you who has donated so far.  It's generous support from people like you that help keep our organization going.  We appreciate your love and goodwill, but those gifts don't help us pay the bills ;-)

But we're not using these funds to pay the bills!  We're using them to score even more amazing wood type, and to preserve printing heritage. 

There's only 15 hours left.  Please share a link to the campaign on Facebook, email friends, and tell people who you think may be interested.  Let's give one last big push!

With 2 weeks to spare, we did it! Many, many thanks to all of our backers for this project. We have already acquired a few fonts of wood type and now can get the rest and even more (depending on how much our final tally is). We will be printing over the next month or two and send you the reward prints (or you can stop by WNYBAC and choose your rewards in person). Look for some photos soon!
