I also found this through Rich Burlew's OotS kickstarter. I'm glad I did, I love the old school D&D art and fantasy style. The 1st Ed. UA was my first retail purchase of a hardcover book, Jeff's cover on that was wht drew my attention . I followed that by buying all of the "new" art cover books for the 1st Edition AD&D. The bindings, as we all know, were their only downfall, but the Easley art is still an inspiration.

Justin: Awesome about the 'E'. An Easley drawing was the basis for the first character I ever made in D&D so I know where you are coming from! And not to worry, even if you're not sold on my writing, Jeff is still going to make this project worth every pledge, promise :)

Mr. Taylor & Mr. Easley: Thanks for being willing to bring this sort of project back from extinction. I'm looking forward to the fiction, but I would be lying if I didn't say that I am especially looking forward to the cover. I guess I would also be lying if I didn't disclose that I named more than one D&D character specifically so I could draw the Easley "E" as their first initial, too, but don't blame me too much for that; I was in junior high.

Seeing Jeffs artwork bought memories flooding back from 1981..when i first got into DnD.
Man..i was 12 then..sigh. 8)
