Kickstarter

Fundraising for my book is a bit like transitioning from winter to spring: it starts slow, like the rising sun melting the snow off the roof and south facing slopes despite the fact that it's still below freezing. Icicles form, but then the first warm rains liquefy what's been locked up tight for the past several weeks. Water runs freely off of the roof. Some percolates slowly into the thawing ground and brings new life to the minute creatures there and stirs the first wildflowers awake; more makes its way across the yard and into the small ravine along the driveway, then into the swelling brooks and streams in the valley below...

I believe whole-heartedly in my endeavors. I know that 'Coming Home' is what I am meant to gift to this world, and is why I am here. Pressing on despite the fact that I'm still a far cry from being funded feeds my soul in indescribably wonderful ways. It's been a long time coming and the challenges at times have made me want to just pull the covers over my head and give up. But I'm not turning back; onward is all I want to know now. The dream has been postponed long enough-
