Hello Friends!

I can't begin to express how much I've appreciated all of your support and encouragement over the years. Without you, none of my dreams could come true. Now, here I am with my Kickstarter project, hoping to create something new and magical with you.  Most of you know me and my history, but if not, I will tell you a bit about myself.

I grew up in a little town west of Chicago nestled in the cornfields of Illinois. We had limited arts programs, but with the help of a few amazing and inspiring people, I began to pursue my dreams of acting and singing. I went to college, eager to prepare for a career on Broadway, only to have a voice teacher (who shall remain nameless) tell me I couldn't sing. Being insecure and impressionable at the time, I brokenheartedly changed my major to business and tucked those dreams away. However, as many of us discover, dreams don't stay tucked away forever.

About eleven years ago my dream of performing again reared it's beautiful head and launched my self-produced show called 'The Judy Show! Yahoo! I was singing!  But I was singing as the character Judy Garland and her iconic guests rather than as myself. Then in 2005 (20 years after the dream-squashing voice teacher) I ventured out, terrified, onto a small stage in a jazz club and sang as myself. I survived! Not only did I survive, but I fell in love with singing jazz and the great jazz standards. Once I walked through that door I never looked back!

Through the gift of music in my life I have been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the best musicians in the country, traveling throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, the UK and Europe. I have since recorded three critically acclaimed CDs (2 jazz and one for The Judy Show) and I have loved every second of it! 

Many friends and fans have asked when I will record a new CD (it has been 4 years). Well, now is the time! Not only have I had requests for a new jazz CD, but I have had many requests for a Christmas CD. I thought, "Why not do both?"

After investigation, I discovered it is way less expensive to record 2 albums at once rather than separately. So, that's my new dream.

But the costs add up quickly. With your support, I will be able to pay for...
