Dear Clabbe,
Hope you're well! As for your question regarding the DVD -- we explained this in our March update but you may have missed it. Since we're still completing the actual film the DVD won't be ready until the Fall. (The DVD can only be created once the film is fully finished). However there will be opportunities to see the film in theaters and public screenings before then. Please follow our website and Facebook page to be informed about upcoming sneak preview screenings. Thank you for your support and your patience!
So I will have to wait how long before I can get the DVD I expected to get now in April?
Very disappointed in your latest news! War, or a U.S. military action might not wait for the properly rolling out of the film. I hope the desire for a wide market and commercial success does not supersede its purpose to encourage diplomacy with a peoples we would all become more familiar with through the film. A human face to the "menace" is needed now!!
Barbara
Congratulations!! Looking forward to the movie!

I really am so personally thrilled for you both. Although I've still to meet you in person Till, I feel close to the project because I remember meeting and talking to you Sara after some film conference a few years ago and hearing about this project as you were just starting out. And now it is so absolutely timely.
Congratulations!
So the fundraiser finally reached its goal. For a minute yesterday I was worried we might miss it. Congratulations. Can't wait for my limited edition DVD; if it goes through the Iranian customs, that is! Happy New Year.
hi you two, I followed your project a few weeks and now I pleged a few dollars! I wish you the best and curious to see the film!!!
Thanks so much Lily for your pledge and your encouraging words and for spreading the news... Feel free to send all of your NYC friends to our Fundraiser next week.
Happy New Year to your too - Hope to see you and the family soon!
Hey you two! I have been following your fantastic push to get this film seen!! Nice work -- it is really awesome! Happy New Year to both of you and your beautiful babies!!
Ali Jan, happy holidays! Our apologies for the confusion regarding the "mini-poster". In the early days of the campaign we had the idea to send everyone who pledges the mini-poster, regardless of pledge amount, but we've since realized that it'll be more effective to send the mini-posters when we're closer to the actual release of the film - hopefully in the first part of 2012. That said, since you were one of our earliest backers, we'll find a way to make you happy!
I got an email saying my poster would arrive but never did :/
I can't wait to see this film! I'm a writer and the next book (Young Adult fiction) I have outlined is tentatively set in Iran (as long as my publisher doesn't ask me to change it!) Because of that, I have been devouring every documentary I can about Iran and in the process have developed quite a passion for these movies!! I am very excited about this one as it seems very honest and really good at showing the life of Iranians in Iran! I'm very excited that I can be part if this project even if in the tiny part that my $50 contribution can make!
Thank you so much for these beautifully encouraging words. We just posted your quote on our FB wall. Hope to meet you in person at a screening soon!
Discovered your film project today at CNN. The more I read about it, the more I became fascinated. Your timing couldn't be better. I feel this film could have a very positive effect on the turn of events in Iran. I have several friends and acquaintances from Iran or of Iranian lineage. They are very friendly humble people. Plus they have the best pistachios in the world! I'm pleased to offer my support and spread the word.
This is going to be a great film!
Sara & Till
Like we said, can't wait to wish you the same, and you are well on your way with this wonderful project and campaign. All our best.
Thank you Mina for your support - we can't wait to share it with you! And thank you for spreading the word about the campaign!
I absolutely love your project. Can't wait to see it. : )
Thank you Özgür and Melody for your beautiful comments about THE IRAN JOB. Very encouraging to hear this from folks like you two, who live in such different parts of the world. Hopefully it's a sign that the film can bridge geographical as well as philosophical distance between people. Hope to meet you all soon in person!
This looks like it's going to be a winner and I can't wait to see the finished documentary! I've been spreading to word to friends and on Facebook. As a filmmaker myself, I am very happy to see you climbing the "doc mountain" with a great footage, commitment and passion. Excited for you get to the top and reach your goal and your dreams :)
It's one of these projects that needs to be supported to guard the freedom of thought against the prospect of an Huxleyian distopia. Because our limited support capacity as normal citizens has potentially the most powerful impact at the points where the manipulation and distortion of information is peaking - in other words, where the apparatus becomes logically weakest. And one of these points is surely dispute of Iran. Every dime well spent. Cheers from Istanbul.
Thank you Terence for your nice words. No way we could do this without the hard work and contribution from folks like you! Hope to see you very soon!
Till & Sara, it's so awesome to see how far the doc has come. You guys are a pillar of inspiration, dedication and commitment! Ecstatic to finally see this thing get done....Kevin and the Iran Job are going to blow minds!
Thank YOU Adriane for backing the film! With great supporters like you we'll reach the goal! Keep spreading the love and the link:-)
You guys are amazing! Thank you so much for doing this and I really do hope you reach your goal!! <3
Thank you Oliver! We could never do it without beautiful souls like you! Much love to everyone in Germany!
