Thanks to your help, along with 960 other backers, the final tally for the FIST OF AWESOME Kickstarter stands at a magnificent £11,808!
Now, I know a few of you were disappointed we finished £192 shy of the GRIZZLY EDITION £12,000 stretch goal so I'd like to make this declaration:
THE GRIZZLY EDITION IS GO!
The overwhelming demand for the GRIZZLY EDITION to see the light of day is something I can't ignore, so I'm committing to making it reality.
Now, there's LOTS AND LOTS to do, so I want to make sure you all know what I'm up to. This is my rough plan for the coming year:
- Jan & Feb - Finish creating the greatest time-travelling-lumberjack-em-up of all time
- March - Release FIST OF AWESOME on iOS & Android
- April - Release FIST OF AWESOME on OUYA
- May & June - Add new levels, characters & local multiplayer support
- July - Release FIST OF AWESOME: GRIZZLY EDITION on PC/Mac
- August - Release FIST OF AWESOME: GRIZZLY EDITION on iOS, Android & OUYA
The GRIZZLY EDITION on iOS, Android and OUYA will be released as a free upgrade to the original game.
Be aware this is prone to change depending on how development progresses, so I'll post regular updates here so you all know how it's going. You might also want to follow me on twitter.
This Kickstarter campaign has been incredible in so many ways, and I truly hope I can live up to your expectations.
