About this project
Brian Barneclo's Systems Mural Project proposes to paint what will be the largest mural in San Francisco on the big brown wall at 7th and Townsend. Caltrains passengers will recognize this as the first landmark they see upon entering The City. The theme is interconnectedness. From the solar system to our nervous systems, everything's connected. The plan is simply to get a design worked out, organize a crew and paint the wall. But we can't do it without your help. We've already raised over $30,000 of our estimated budget of $70,000. We are asking kickstarter supporters to get us that much closer to our goal. Much of the funding we have secured has gone to cover permits and insurance costs (expensive stuff!) The money we are currently seeking will be spent on paint, painting supplies, and rental equipment (two 40' booms). By helping us reach this immediate goal you will get us out there painting!
The project is fiscally sponsored by Intersection for the Arts making us a 501(c3) non-profit.
