More Hardboiled and FINAL Stretch Goals!
We just added a new reward level for EIGHT Hardboiled Companions to the Reward Table. They cost the same as Hardboiled rewards for the main book as each city section is smaller but you'll stand out a bit more because of it. "Big fish, small pond" and all that! (Okay, well they're actually $1 less just to put them in a more readable order...but you get the picture, palookas!)
Final Stretch Goals!
These are our LAST stretch goals! If we hit $96K, we'll DOUBLE the special card decks! Everyone who gets one now gets a DOUBLE DECK in two alternating colors and with original art on all the various Jokers (we're not sure about the rest of the art just yet but will be posting it in post-launch udpates as it comes in from the amazing three-time Hugo Award (R) winning artist and colorist, Cheyenne Wright)!
And if we hit the $100K mark, we'll send EVERY BACKER at EVERY LEVEL a PDF of our best-selling, award-winning Savage Worlds Deluxe core rules *immediately* after the Kickster ends to celebrate how awesome you guys and girls have made this entire experience!
This is a tough goal and a big deal for us as the core rules are our bread and butter, so if you want this to happen, we REALLY need you to spread the word!

Each section is smaller than the treatment we're giving Mayor McKendrew of the Big Easy (see that reward), so the price of graft and corruption is less as well. @Sam: There's quite a community watching these limited slots. Not sure in which time zone you reside, but there was a less-than-half-hour window beginning around 10:30am EDT (2:30pm GMT) one bright and sunny (time of day) to grab one of those Companion Mayor slots. It was astounding to see how many people were not only eager to snap up Mayoral fame, but the bunches more who would have grabbed a spot, had there been enough. This is going to be an AMAZING setting (No pressure, Shane), and hundreds of people are hungry to be a part of it. I don't think it matters WHEN they'd opened the slots. If you didn't just HAPPEN to be checking for updates at that moment, you were gonna be left behind. I think I can safely speculate, however, that given the incredible level of support shown by this Kickstarter, there may just be more similar opportunities down the road. So keep your eyes open.

But Shane keeps releasing the new levels in the middle of my night ad they are gone by the time I wake up. And I missed the start of the kickstarter to be one of the first pedgers

"It's no big deal" doesn't really cover it. I have been roleplaying 1989(? i think, the exact date is hazie, I was pretty young.), and in that time I have played a fairly large number of games (perhapes twenty to thirty titles), from second ed DnD, through to Dogs in the Vineyard.
I have played deadlands twice, many few times than most games I have played, and yet it has given me my favourate PC, gotten me dates, set itself up as a game I will all but kill for the chance to play. Only Call of Cthulhu sits higher on my totem pole of games...and i've played two short campaigns of it...
Deadlands Noir represents a chance for me to play with a modernised version of one of my favourate systems, its kicking my arse into actually going out there and starting to pick up books for classic deadlands and deadlands reloaded and it is straight up giving me an excuse to run 1930's adventures...If only there was a set of 1930's adventures being released on kickstarter at the moment I might be able to use in conjunction...oh wait there is, its called no security.( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/159466030/no-security-horror-scenarios-in-the-great-depressi)
And your planning on giving away your rules system to me too? The least I can do is try and get a couple of people interested in the system.

Cousin Artaud - Shamus was an additional pledge level added after the start of the KS drive. You can't edit pledge text, so they're not able to edit now to clarify that the Hardboiled gets everything a Shamus does (although obviously they could have written this in to the new Hardboiled Companion level to make things clearer).
As I say, there's a chart on the front page which shows exactly what you get at Shamus and Hardboiled levels, which should allay your concerns.
