The Story:

Hi Mitch is a short film about a psychiatrist and recovering alcoholic who feels lost and ordinary until someone comes back into his life with news that challenges him to be extraordinary.

The Story Behind The Story:

I wrote this idea as a full-length feature first, so I have many goals for this story both as a short and as a feature.  Once the short is shot, my plan is to submit it to festivals as its own piece and to have something wonderful and visual to show for my work as an independent filmmaker.  Ideally the short will have a great life of its own...and even more ideally, it will do that as well as gain momentum to eventually make the film as a full feature. 

The Funding:

Pledges made to the project will go to various aspects of the film shoot - cinematographer, lighting, sound, editing, etc...all the pieces of the puzzle that come together to make a film great.
