About this project
With the help of our friends at Destructoid.com and OriginalSoundVersion.com, we’ve recently unveiled TWILIGHT SYMPHONY as an album featuring 2 ½ epic hours of entirely new, fully orchestral arrangements inspired by music composed by Toru Minegishi, Asuka Ōta, and Koji Kondo and spanning upwards of 40 tracks from the unreleased soundtrack of Nintendo’s highly acclaimed action-adventure game: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
As huge, dedicated fans of The Legend of Zelda franchise, The TWILIGHT SYMPHONY team has been painstaking in its effort to take Zelda Music to new heights, and we’re nearly done. With a solid plan to be project-complete by late Spring, we hope to have TWILIGHT SYMPHONY in your hands by Summer of 2011.
This is where you come in: for the first time in Zelda music history, we want to record a full-sized choir to accompany the music on the album. You can help make this dream a reality. We’ve setup an exciting system of incentives for those who want to donate on a variety of levels, and you can check those out here on our Kickstarter page.

Great question! We're currently finishing the remaining tracks left on the album, some of which require choir. During this time, we're also working hard to prepare the choir parts and get everything ready for recording. There's a lot that goes into preparing music so that when the recording session rolls around, it goes off as flawlessly and professionally as possible! Unfortunately it's taking some time, but rest assured we're trying our best to get this all done before end of summer this year (2011). Either way, you'll be the first to know! Thank you for your patience as we put all of the finishing touches on this great project!

We are Zelda Reorchestrated (ZREO). It is our goal to transcribe the musical masterpieces that you have heard in the greatest video game series ever created: The Legend of Zelda! Our goal is to give each and every song from The Legend of Zelda series a realistic and atmospheric sound with the quality that you would expect from such film composers as John Williams, Howard Shore, and James Horner.
