Places to sell pies

Hello to our Kickstarter followers!

We're been selling pies on the streets of Seattle for almost a month now and it has been fantastic fun. People seem to love our pies and we're thrilled that people brave the Seattle winter to stand in line to buy them. 

We're currently only selling three times per week: Tuesdays at "Trucklandia," Fairview and Harison; Wednesdays at 2nd and Pike; and Thursdays in South Lake Union on Harrison street between Fairview and Boren. (I'm not sure we'll keep doing Trucklandia after this week, so be sure to check the schedule at www.314PieSeattle.com before you come out.)

We're looking to expand our route, and thought that maybe some of you would have some suggestions. Does anyone know of a place that fits all of these requirements?:

1) Is private property, and the owner would like to have a food truck

2) Is in King County (Health department requirement)

3) Has a restroom within 200 feet that we can use (Health dept again)

and

4) Has a large number of passers-by or other potential customers? 

We're currently vending in parking lots in urban areas. But if any of you work in, or know of, suburban office parks with parking lots, we'd love to hear about it.

This is it! We passed our inspection, and we have all the permits we need now. We are officially in business!

Where will we be? Our first day will be Thursday November 8th in SLU. We'll be on Harrison between Boren and Fairview. Come check us out! You could be a part of a hilarious (in retrospect) first day disaster!

We're in negotations for other locations and will get those up and running soon. Most likely those will be 2nd and Pine downtown, Starbuck's headquaters in SoDo, Wine World in Wallingford, and Hiliard's in Ballard. This is what we'll try out to start. Do let us know what you think.

And, we have the t-shirts in our hot little hands. We'll be mailing those out this week!

Again, thank you everyone for all your support. If it weren't for all of you, we might never have opened. We are deeply appreciative.

Almost there!

We have everything more or less ready to go now. Our final health inspection will be friday next week, and then (assuming we pass) we will finally be able to start. Once our locations are 100% locked in, I'll send them out. Seems almost surreal at this point.

Artwork

All we have left to do is get that health department approval, and all signs point to very soon.  In the meantime, here is our newly painted truck!  What's that?  Something's missing you say?  Ah yes, graphics.  Funny story.  Actually, disappointing story.  We hired a graphic artist to render all our artwork.  He claimed he would have everything to us weeks ago.  Instead, he's given us nothing, and our attempts to communicate with him have failed.  He could be in the hospital for all we know.  Remember kids, always respond to messages.

So, we need a new artist.  Anyone have any recommendations?  The concept work is mostly done.  We just need to put it in a form we can send to the printers.  And really, this should have all been finished two weeks ago, so a full time artist would be nice.

Art or no, we'll see you on the road soon!  Just look for the nondescript blue truck.
