Herpe Betty is an original web series created by Michelle Murphy and Harrison Martin. Herpe Betty showcases local comedic talent and is filmed with the help of other Omaha artists. It's about following your dreams and love bites even when you are misguided by your dirty grandma and swayed by the peer pressure of mean bitches wearing slutty outfits. Herpe Betty is about remaining positive and optimistic while searching the Omaha streets for your one true love.
Betty's innocence resonates loudly and her gullible nature provides insight into her very hindered and warped view of life. Betty is just trying to make it in the world as a girl. Residing with her provocative grandma, Betty always seems to have blinders on. Led by three seemingly popular tramps to a back alley kissing booth, Betty experiences her first sloppy kiss, rendering her a 'love bite'. Betty begins a whirlwind of an adventure to track down the kissing booth guy, the one who claimed her. With 99 cent paninis and roofies will Betty finally find true love?
The goal of Herpe Betty is to make others laugh loudly, to inspire and to hoot and to holler. Herpe Betty was written from the humor of our hearts and we want to continue providing this love which can only be possible with your appreciated help.
