The first ever mustachioed bad ass 70s buddy cop, time traveling, samurai western film.

Coming to a theatre near you, Mumbles and Grumbles in MUMBLES AND GRUMBLES: COWBOY HUSTLE. Cowboy Hustle is about two baaad ass 70s detectives who are teleported back in time to the old west where the evil sheriff, Kim Von Stronheim, rules the town with an iron fist and by the sword. Mumbles and Grumbles must learn the way of the samurai from a familiar stranger to end Stronheim's tyranny and help save the town.

Cowboy Hustle will look and feel like a film made in the 70s. It will be shot on both film and digital formats. No, that doesn't mean we will be shooting film and digital side by side. The first quarter of the film takes place in the 70s, so help with the aesthetic, we are shooting it on 16mm reversal film. As for all the Western scenes, to be most cost effective, we will shoot it with multiple digital cameras, specifically the Canon 7D.

So why the need for fundraising?
Well, being that we are making a period piece, we need the funds to shoot at recreate an authentic old Western looking town, transport/house/feed our crew, as well as any rental fees for equipment, costumes, etc. In an ideal world, we would shoot this film in Arizona or Colorado, which would require us to drive out there with the equipment and fly some of our cast and crew. And that is not cheap. If we can raise a ton of money, say $15,000, we could do it and it would be awesome. But to be realistic, we are location scouting on the East Coast (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, etc) for our town.

Our goal is $7,500 and if we don't reach that amount, then we don't get anything by Kickstarter's rules. Of course, we can always raise more than that amount, and we hope that we go way over the goal.

Even if you cannot donate, the most helpful thing you can do to help us is to spread the word about this film. So please, forward this kickstarter page to everybody you can think of; family, friends, neighbors, long lost relatives, etc.

We thank you for your support!!

YEEHAW!
