The book Hatching Dragons is the fruition of years of experience that I want to share with other upcoming artists, or those who just want a different look into how others work. This is not going to be a "draw with shapes" book, but rather how I have approached drawing from a gesture perspective. Those that follow my art know that I have done a few short tutorials in the past and many have requested that I do more.  The image below is one such tutorial that I did that many found helpful, though it was only coloring. 

For the book, I want to do art breakdowns that show how the gesture sketch evolves into a full piece. Breakdowns will explain everything from paws to ears to wings and there will be coloring and shading explanations as well. Ending the book will be a few examples of finished pieces and what was done to get that far.

I would like to incorporate a small section to the creation of unique dragon-ish characters which is one of my favorite pass times.

My hopes are that a book like this will help both aspiring digital and traditional artists to get a different perspective on art and the creativity that goes into dragons.
