The Tile Art

A mosaic involves creating an image by piecing together many small pieces of stone, glass, tile, or other materials. What we do is a little trickier. We cut out a design or logo in tile using a wet tile saw and we try to use as few pieces as possible to create a full image. For this project, we are raising funds for the materials needed to make saw cut tile art creations representing all of the schools in the Southeastern Conference.  We have made 5 already, so 9 to go.  Making a new logo is a time consuming process but we've set a goal of completing the whole SEC by September 1st.

The Calendar

We are going to take pictures of our finished work and put them together to create a calendar showcasing our masterpieces that also gives you a week-by-week football schedule of who is playing who.  We will email out a PDF each week with a new school tile art on display and up to date game time and TV coverage information.  Print this out, hang it up, and you'll be the coolest person in your office. Besides the guy that actually has one of our real tile art creations hanging up in his cubicle. He's way cooler.

The Licenses 

Additional funds raised after materials have been paid for will go towards obtaining crafters licenses and, if we get enough support, a Collegiate Licensing Company license so we can mass produce these awesome college items and sell them wherever we want! This is a costly application process with many requirements and we can't do it without you.

The Rewards 

We have some pretty cool rewards lined up for you guys to thank you for your support.  You've seen the wall art and tables. Below are pictures of the Shadow box ($35 reward), the street sign ($50 reward), and the mirror ($75 reward). Remember, it doesn't just have to be what you see here. We'll work with you to put together something you like.  Note shipping costs are included for the US in the price of the rewards.  If you live in the Atlanta, Georgia area, deduct the shipping cost.  We'll figure out a pick-up/delivery scenario.
