JotStudio Update
Hey Kickstarters,
We promised you a great stylus, and most of you have received Jot by now. We also promised you a free app that would enhance your stylus experience. While work began on JotStudio once it was apparent our financial goals would be exceeded, we are putting as much care into JotStudio as Adonit puts into all of our products.
We are going over the final details, and submitting JotStudio to the app store in the coming weeks. We truly appreciate your patience, and once you use our app, you’ll see why Adonit doesn’t cut corners. As we get closer to launching, we will be sharing a video walk-through, revealing how JotStudio will make digital note-taking and sketching better than ever.

One month later - any new update on Jot Studio. I have a broken stylus within a week of receipt (cracked disc) - still don't have a replacement. Be nice to at least have a neat app for my funding.

Works quite well though on missus iPad which has the glass front protection screen simple tap doesn't usually register instead have to tap rather firmly and doing so makes me worried about the possible cracking on the glass... ^ ^

@Hyun: Jot works with anything other than Zagg Glossy Invisible Shield and Ghost Armor. The materials used for these has to much grip. If you are having problems with your Jot, please contact us at help@adonit.net.

@James: From our survey of our backers, Android backers of Jot are less than 10% of our overall backers. As JotStudio becomes successful on the iOS we will naturally expand to the Android platform.

I am disappointed with the lack of sensitivity in my unit. I have complained and have been told the fix is a new disk. I leave for Italy the day after tomorrow and the whole, problem, responce, solution, fix in place process is slow and a disappointment. I started this process so long ago and to leave without it is well....not a happy camper!

Exciting news! I would LOVE it if one option would be the "handwriting" practice lines where there is a solid line at the top, a dotted line in the middle and a solid line at the bottom (maybe 2 or 3 per "page"). My daughter is using my Jot Pro more than I am at the moment and I'd love for her to do her handwriting practice in the app designed for it. I assume you are integrating the technology that accounts for where your wrist rests and ignores it, right? I've used a few apps that don't and it's a real pain to use a stylus when you can't hold it properly.

@Dillon: App will only work on the iPad for now.
@Nicole: We are giving away one version of the app per backer. So you will get one free copy of JotStudio. Your friends will have download it themselves. Have them buy early. The price will go up as we add more features to the app.
