You’ve waited patiently, and now it is finally here. We could not be more excited to announce the release of our iPad app, JotStudio! (Guess the title of this post sorta gave that away, huh?) …So, what’s new with JotStudio?

JotStudio is a collaging and sketching iPad app designed precisely for our precision stylus rather than your finger. Use the mobile app to, sketch designs, storyboard your next great independent film, or collect inspirational photos. In fact, why not plan a gourmet meal by pulling together photos and recipes? With JotStudio, it’s easy to do!

Designed specifically for the world’s most accurate stylus, the Jot, JotStudio is engineered to overwrite the default finger offset, allowing for 100% accuracy for your most inspirational creations.

Truth be told, we would not be where we are today without our fervent Kickstarter supporters. To show our appreciation, we’d like to remind our backers of their free app download. Were you not on board with our Kickstarter campaign? Don’t worry: the JotStudio app is free to everyone for one week starting today. When this week is up, the app will come with a $1.99 price tag.

As this iPad App is the first of many to come, we encourage you to provide us with your feedback so we can improve upon its functionality in future versions. Share your thoughts with us on the JotStudio tubmlr.

Hello Kickstarters

We know you have been patiently awaiting JotStudio, the first of many apps to show off the precision of Jot. JotStudio is a collaging and sketching app calibrated for a precision stylus rather than a finger. We have been working very hard on building JotStudio and I am proud to say we have just submitted it to Apple for approval. The approval process takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks.

You have all received JotStudio as a gift from us for spreading the word of Jot and helping us surpass our $80,000 Kickstarter goal. Finally it is time to reward you for your hard work, but iTunes doesn’t make giving or gifting apps very easy. It is actually impossible to gift apps from country to country and as many of you are from around the globe, this has created a problem.

Our solution is to offer the app FREE FOR ONE WEEK ONLY. After that one week we will be raising the price of the app to $1.99. Our hopes are that all of you Kickstarters can download JotStudio in the first week. We have no doubt you can do this! This is the only way we can get JotStudio to everyone. If you don’t download JotStudio in the first week, the price goes up and our hands are tied.

As soon as JotStudio becomes available we will be sending out updates to remind everyone to get their copy before it goes up in price. Once you have the app please help us by reviewing the app in the app store. We want others to know how great JotStudio is for a precision stylus.

We promised you a great stylus, and most of you have received Jot by now. We also promised you a free app that would enhance your stylus experience. While work began on JotStudio once it was apparent our financial goals would be exceeded, we are putting as much care into JotStudio as Adonit puts into all of our products.

We are going over the final details, and submitting JotStudio to the app store in the coming weeks. We truly appreciate your patience, and once you use our app, you’ll see why Adonit doesn’t cut corners. As we get closer to launching, we will be sharing a video walk-through, revealing how JotStudio will make digital note-taking and sketching better than ever.

Its that time again for an update! 

We are happy to announce that as of Saturday, September 25th we have successfully fulfilled all of our kickstarter orders!! Thanks again to all of our backers for your amazing support and for helping make Jot a reality. We do have a few of you that we need additional information from to fulfill your orders. If you have not received a confirmation notice we need the following information to complete your order. Please send this information to help@adonit.netright away so we can complete your order and you can start enjoying your Jot or Jot Pro.

Canada Orders

All orders from Canada have been shipped via USPS as of Tuesday, September 20th and should be arriving to you very soon. Unfortunately USPS does not provide tracking information for these packages, instead they provide a delivery confirmation which will let us know when the orders have been received. We appreciate everyones patience in this process and are excited to deliver everyones Jots.

Replacement Discs

The recent update to the disc has corrected the previous issues with some of the very first units we sent out. If your disc is not working properly, or is otherwise damaged, please contact us at help@adonit.net.  We apologize for any inconvenience and are confident the latest batch of precision discs will provide the experience you are looking for from your Jot and Jot Pro. If you have not had any issues with your disc disregard this portion of the update and continue to enjoy!
