  Have you tried cleaning the disc on the Jot? I noticed mine can get sort of unresponsive when it gets dirty.

  My pleasure got the ZaggHD installed on the new iPad and as expected the Jot works quite well!!
  Only issue I even see is with the app it doesn't seem that the wrist rejection or whatever it's called works very well but it certainly isn't a deal breaker it's a great app to go with a great stylus my friends have several different types of stylus and NONE match mine for accuracy and consistency so far it's my favorite kickstater reward!!!

  I have used it with both the Zagg and the Power support anti glare and have not had any issues with either..and I ordered the new Zagg HD screen protector for my new iPad which is arriving next Friday the 16th and I will report back on that one after I try it.

  Adonit lists iPad screen protectors that the Jot does not work with. Anyone found one it DOES work with (if so, which ones)? Tried Zagg & PowerSupport Anti-Glare. Neither works well. Thanks!

  The Jot already works with phones/iPads with screen protectors. We are aware that Jot does not work well with a small number of screen protectors, due to their glossy surface. These are the protectors which we can confirm do not work well with the Jot:

  @Tanner: This is an old version (1.0) submitted to iTunes. It should not be available. We are waiting on an improved version (1.1) of JotStudio to be approved. It should be ready in the next few days.

  I wish they'd be more forthcoming. I almost have to think something has gone wrong. I know of at least two apps that were submitted after they said JotStudio was submitted to Apple and I have had them installed for a bit now. I wonder if Apple rejected it and they have to re-work it.

  Just saw the Jot Touch on some CES coverage and WOW does that ever look cool!
  Only question is how come you didn't give us a chance to back it here?
  Anyway I have a feeling I will be adding one of them to my bag of tricks when it becomes available great thinking making it bluetooth so nothing else is nessesary......like a receiver that plugs in to the 30 pin connector I saw a stylus like that here on Kickstarter but yours seems much more refined.
  Can't wait for the app I hope it's out soon keep up the great work!

  It should be available in all countries at the same time. Unfortunately Apple still haven't advised when they will release it. Meanwhile, stay tuned for announcements of our new products, being debuted at CES in Las Vegas.

  Regarding the problem with the taxes I've faced the same problem until I found out that the value of the parcel was declared in Hong Kong dollars. The guy at the tax-office thought it was US-dollars. Maybe you should point this out, so your customers are able to mention this at the tax-office.

  You were only asked once to do the test with iOS5. You were asked once what the result of the test was. As soon as you informed us that the stylus did not pass the test, we informed you that we would send you two replacement discs free of charge. Your replacement discs were shipped two days later; we sent you the tracking number by email.

  Is anyone else having problems getting replacement discs? I see they are selling them online at their Adonit store for $8.00 (for 2 discs) + however much shipping is. I have had to answer a bunch of questions over and over after telling Support the Jot does not write correctly in several apps and doesn't matter the iOS, which Adonit keeps saying "The iOS5 test is very important in helping us diagnose the problem. It will help us determine if it's your operating system or if it's the discs. If it's your operating system then sending you replacement discs would be a waste of time.
  
  We sincerely thank you for your patience but if you can let us know the results of the test then we can determine the problem right away." WOW I've never been treated so badly and repeatedly telling you the discs do not work. It is like Adonit does not want to replace messed up discs --- they want the customer/kickstarter to get frustrated and forget wanting a replacement.

  Our records indicate that our customer support staff replied to your email of October 25, the very next day. We didn't receive any further correspondence from you. The reason why we ask the questions we do, is to determine whether or not the disc is suffering from a manufacturing error, or if the issue is something else; software issues, an incompatible screen protector, or damage (accidental or otherwise), by the user. Until we know the answers to these questions, we can't be certain what is causing the problems with your Jot. On October 26 our customer support representative asked you to carry out a test which would confirm whether or not the issue was with iOS5, which we know is sometimes responsible for poor performance. If you didn't receive that email, I will send it again.

  Answers to these questions will help us determine whether your disc is suffering from a manufacturing defect (in which case we will replace it free of charge). If we do replace it we need your shipping address and telephone number so we can send your replacement. Please also include the original order number if you have it.

  That last part makes it sound like I'm responsible for the Jot disc not working correctly. Of course you should replace it free of charge, you sent a defective disc. What happened to the replacement disc I applied for almost a month ago?

  "A poster on another board had a tip about the Jot Pro I thought I'd share. (Haven't tried it yet so YMMV.) He claims that he solved the missed stroke problem on the Jot Pro by washing the disc with dish washing liquid, rinsing, and drying well. He indicated he hesitated to try the fix, fearing it would destroy any coating on the disc. In fact, however, he believes the missed stroke problem results from transferring oils from one's finger to the disc when it's touched. The "finger oil" then interferes with the disc's contact with the screen. It's worth a try"
