An art project about female sexuality, good and bad.

My project is an intellectual and artistic exploration of the dichotomy between socially constructed female sexuality and the real deal. In other words, the difference between the sterile, hyper sexualized women in advertisements and on TV, and actual women. 

It is both a paper and a gallery show, as my creative work is highly researched and developed. In the end, I hope to produce 12 works that will be displayed on large sheets of paper. The pieces are essentially line drawings, and I will provide crayons and other coloring materials so that the viewer can color them in. I hope to break down the barrier between raunch culture and hyper sexuality, which is often seen as desirable, and self awareness of sexuality in women.
