New Stretch Goals Unlocked!

With the help of our backers, we've just rolled over the $85,000 mark. Now, you can look forward to an even more powerful Connectify Dispatch with support for Metered Connections. With this new feature, users will now be able to set caps on individual connections in Dispatch. Set your 4G modem to only use 3GB per-month, and Dispatch will intelligently stop using the device well before you reach your monthly 5GB limit!
And with yet another awesome stretch feature in-the-works, we've decided to unlock TWO new stretch goals that we hope to reach in these last 72 hours! The two features we're unlocking today are actually the two most-commonly requested features from our recent Backer-only Survey:
-
$100,000 - Application-Aware Connection Selection
At $100,000, Dispatch will be packing even more punch. We've unlocked a new feature that will let you control which individual programs utilize each Internet connection in Dispatch. With 'Application-Aware Connection Selection,' you can tell Dispatch to never use the office Internet for your BitTorrent downloads, or always use your home's Ethernet connection for your video game's traffic. We've got you covered!
-
$110,000 - Dispatch Network Profiles
If we reach the BONUS, $110,000 stretch goal, Dispatch users will have the ability to save network profiles. That way, application-specific settings and options for your metered connections can be recalled by simply clicking on your HOME or OFFICE profile!
We can't reach these stretch goals without your help. Make sure to tell your friends and family to back our project by visiting www.backdispatch.com. With less than 72 hours left in our campaign, we need you to do everything you can: post about Dispatch on Facebook and Twitter, blog about the project, and simply help us get the word out!
Thanks,
Alex and the Connectify Team

with the above i mean, combining those 2 types of connections (just those 2!)
what would your statistical improvements be on, say, pingtest.net / speedtest.net?
Creator Robin F Meekes on September 5, 2012
what would happen to a combined connection e.g.
HS+PA Dongle (100ms, 300kb/s) + WiFi (30ms, 50kb/s capped), with the above mentioned?
i'd also love a manual QoS-setting, so i can prioritize the netpackets.
loving these 2 goals! both were mentioned in my survey! hope to see more performance "unlocks/stretch goals" in the future! rather than just visual gimmics, there are enough gadgets 3rd party that monitor internet connection, but almost none that actually make impact on network performance in real life situations.
this would be a first! or so i hope!

No, Application-Aware Connection Selection lets you set rules about which connection goes where. But that's a great next stretch goal!
Creator Armando Villani on September 4, 2012
Does "Application-Aware Connection Selection" will allow bandwidth limitation on a per application basis?
