Would like the ability with Dispatch /connectify to be able to force to a 2.4/5mhz connections I have a Nexus 7 and it only has the 2.4 band and sometimes it will go to the 2.4 but most of the time it locks to the 5mhz band.

I second Muescha's statement.

i pledged the $40 pledge in hope that you release a Connetify Dispatch for OSX. i dont have a Windows PC - so i can not use the Dispatch for Windows.
when you release the OSX version of Dispatch?
Creator Connectify on January 16
vnfenris: Everything has shipped. I'll email the tracking code to you, but tracking of international packages is not very good.
Aaron Cheah: Yes, we posted a build of 4.1 (named 4.1.1) with a fix for your issue to the beta site while we await Microsoft logo certification for the new fixed driver.
Creator Aaron Cheah on January 10
Kill the bugs yet? I can't use Dispatch on a daily basis because it kept going into hard freeze on my Vaio P or other Windows 7 machines.
Creator vnfenris on January 6
Hello. Have you already begun shipping USB Wi-Fi card + Limited-edition Dispatch T-Shirt? Still haven't got mine((

Aaron,
That's no good! I'd like you to describe what you're seeing in our Dispatch issue tracker. I sent you a private message here on Kickstarter with a link.

Jeffrey,
I will send you your label number in a private message. It shipped November 7th, and the last known location was the international sorting facility on November 9th. That's just the last known status, so it isn't categorized as lost or anything.
Creator Jeffrey Yao on December 17
Do you have a tracking number for my parcel? I'm starting to get worried.
Creator Connectify on December 17
The Hotspot news area can be hidden by going to the hand menu in the upper left corner of the Hotspot window, and going to Display Options -> Show News/Ads. The news area in Dispatch will be collapsible in the next update, which will come out soon.
Creator Aaron Cheah on December 14
I had Dispatch running on an old Sony Vaio P and need to ask if there's a way to hide all the ads and notices at the bottom of Dispatch or Hotspot as screen width is a premium here. The Vaio P has a resolution of 1600 x 768 only.
Creator Connectify on December 8
Yes, all of the rewards have shipped. US backers should have received emails from USPS with confirmation numbers. International backers won't receive emails from USPS. Rewards to $200+ backers went out a few weeks ago, so if you haven't received it yet, you should any day now. Rewards to $100 backers went out late last week and into this week.
Creator Jeffrey Yao on December 7
Have you shipped out the rewards yet?
Creator Connectify on November 30
For the short-range 300Mbps adapters, we went with the Edimax EW-7722Utn, and for the long-range 150Mbps adapters we went with the Edimax EW-7711Hpn and the Rosewill RNX-N150UBE.
Creator Pacun Gohan on November 28
Finally I got Connectify Dispatch Beta 4 before Dec 2012 (24 Nov 2012).
1st I couldn't activate Dispatch because I was using my Hotspot License.
2nd Dispatch License not the same as Hotspot License.
3rd I change my Hotspot License to Dispatch License.
4th Dispatch activated.
5th change Internet to Share to Dispatch and apply setting on Connectify Hotspot.
Creator Dana Roberson on November 26
What USB wifi adapter did you guys choose for those that picked it? I didn't, but would like to buy one separately.
Creator Muescha on November 3, 2012
Is there any time frame, when i can expect the version for Mac OS X ?
Creator Wreckface on October 30, 2012
Well both parts of that status blow. Stay safe guys, that's more important.
Creator Connectify on October 30, 2012
No, not yet. The t-shirts are done, and the rest of the rewards are on their way to our office. I'm really excited to get all this out to you guys. Our plan was to ship everything out around the middle of this week, but we're in Philadelphia, which is basically locked-down due to Hurricane Sandy, and I imagine that we won't start shipping stuff until late this week.
Creator Wreckface on October 30, 2012
Any updates on the shipments of the T-Shirts, etc?
Creator Daniel on September 29, 2012
Is it possible to contact you to arrange to purchase access to the betas? I'm currently running a critical live streaming that could benefit from the reliability dispatch has. We're really in a bind here.
Creator Mohd Norkhairi Ariff on September 28, 2012
but it might be better for u to contact them 1st :)

Yes, lots and lots of progress. We completed a full round of testing, but hit one bug that must be fixed before we ship the beta. Beta will be this week. Thanks for hanging in there with us.

Avail yourself to make dispatch HUM when it comes along.
They apparently work out of the box on Linux boxes too - so there is that :-)
Love seeing civility on the Internet despite the vitriol of some people.

@Mr. Ariff
What do you mean when you say "I did open a ticket on their website"?
Creator Mohd Norkhairi Ariff on September 23, 2012
they have sorted the $10 problem for me. but i did open a ticket on their website :)
Creator Mike Wohlrab on September 23, 2012
@Jeffrey Yao, Have you emailed kickstarter@connectify.me?
Creator Jeffrey Yao on September 23, 2012
Hi, I still need to add the extra $10 for shipping. Can you sort this out?
@Amir = being an ass
Creator Raymund R DeAsis on September 23, 2012
@Mr. Wohlrab
Oh, ok. I understand. Thanks again.
Creator Mike Wohlrab on September 23, 2012
My home connection is a fast and stable connection at 30MB/s download and 5MB/s upload, so I am not expecting much increase of either stability or performance on my home connection. Where I do expect it to be used most is when I am out and about such as on vacation, or at work, at a coffee shop, at school, etc where the connections aren't the best. I plan on using tethering on my phone, plus a couple wifi connections at those locations. What I expect is to have a modest gain in stability, but have the most gains in speed. It will probably be a 30/70 split of stability to speed ratio.
Creator Mike Wohlrab on September 23, 2012
@Raymund. Dispatch can do a couple of different things as you know (Backup connection, split the connections for more speed, etc). Depending on what your end goal is, would depend exactly how many connections you want. If you want to ensure you have a stable connection at home and don't lose an internet connection when on your laptop which is sitting on your desk for instance, then I would use a wired connection to your router (Wired built in), a wireless connection to a neighbors router with permission (wireless built in) / or a wireless connection to your phone. That right there you really don't need any extra dongles. If you are trying to get as much speed as possible, then I would use wired built in to your router, wireless built in to your router, wireless dongle to your phone (tether if possible), wireless dongle to your neighbors (with permission), plus another wireless dongle or two to other neighbors connection with permission.
Creator Raymund R DeAsis on September 23, 2012
@ Mr. Wohlrab
Ah, that makes sense, thank you. So, ooh, i might need to buy more dongles if i want to increase or optimize performance. Correct me if i am wrong...
Creator Mike Wohlrab on September 23, 2012
@Raymund, there can be only 1 network connection per network card. For instance a typical laptop has 1 internal wifi connector, and 1 wired network connector. With that, you will only be allowed to have 2 connections max if you use both (1 connection per card). Network adapters will only support 1 connection each. If you want to connect to 5 wireless networks and 1 wired network from that laptop I used above, then you need to use 4 addition wireless dongles to get those extra connections. Dispatch will see all the networks that the network adapters tell dispatch and windows about. Does that make sense?
