The Music

• The music will be based around Benny Goodman, Sidney Bechet, classical music, Klezmer, my original jazz tunes, and more.  These styles will be showcased and then mixed together to create a unique listening experience. ClarinetMonsteR will be filled with innovative music and seamless transitions between eclectic musical styles.
• I am creating original arrangements and compositions with the help of two amazing arrangers and a producer.  

Recording the CD

• The recording sessions for the CD are scheduled at Florida State University on October 13-14, 2012.  
• FSU has graciously offered their support by supplying the facilities and the services of Grammy award winning engineer John Hadden.  
• The orchestra will be contracted primarily from members of the University Symphony Orchestra. 
• I will be the clarinet soloist and the jazz combo has been hand picked and is exceptional.  

The Development Plan

• My plan for the kickstarter funds includes creating the music, hiring the arrangers, hiring the musicians to record the cd, recording a CD, creating CD artwork, manufacturing and packaging the CD, and distributing  the CD.
• Professional artists will create the artwork and publicity materials.  
• If funding allows a publicist or booking agent will be hired to promote the show.
• The kickstarter funding will be used to complete all of the above.

Also included: dramatic lighting, costume changes, attitude, great music with style, variety, an experience that will leave you musically fulfilled
