About this project
We are in the process of recording a new album that is scheduled to be release in June of 2012. We are extremely excited about this new project and we hope that you are too! We have recently reformed the band adding three great front range musicians to the mix. Chris Ramey on pedal steel, Nancy Steinberger on fiddle and harmony vocals and my husband, Taylor Sims, on electric guitar and vocals. They join our longtime rhythm Clydes, Jason Pawlina on drums and percussion and Michael Schenkelberg on bass. The sound is tighter and more original than ever, and the new album will showcase Bonnie's powerfully soulful voice, the new Clydes' instrumental prowess, and Bonnie & Taylor's collaborative songwriting.
Making an album is extremely expensive and time consuming. The money we raise on this site will be used for:
- Recording costs
- Paying the musicians
- Mastering costs
- Graphic design, art & photography fees
- Reproduction of the disc
- Promotion of the new album (radio & music publications)
We would love for you to help us out, and are so thankful to anyone who chooses to. Being able to play music for a living and share music with others is such a blessing, and being able to play music with my husband full time is incredible. I could not possibly be more excited about the new band lineup, and the new album, and want as many people to hear it as possible! Please help me make this dream come true.

I have been singing since I was 3 years old, I started playing guitar at 12 and mandolin at 14. I studied at South Plains College in Levelland, TX and got my degree in music, with my focus being the mandolin and yodeling. I also met my husband, Taylor Sims, at South Plains, and we play music together now in Bonnie & the Clydes full time. I started Bonnie & the Clydes in March of 2010 and have recently gotten some new musicians, which has strengthened the band exponentially. We play all over the Colorado Front Range and have played over 150 shows since our incarnation.
I believe that music is something much bigger than myself, it was here before me and will be here long after I'm gone, and I am privileged to participate while I'm on this earth. I believe it's something that everyone can be a part of, in so many different degrees, and long to share it with as many people as I can in my lifetime.
