“The Eubie Live Project” will be a compilation CD that features national recording artist that have performed in the Eubie Live! venue.
“The Eubie Live Project” will be a compilation CD that features national jazz recording artists who have performed at the "Eubie Live!" venue. All of artists performing on the CD have donated their performance track. Funds raised will be used to help cover of production and mastering,packaging design, promotional materials and manufacturing of the CD.
The CD will cover the world of jazz from straight ahead (world renowned pianist Larry Willis, trumpeter Ira Sullivan, and drummer Louis Hayes) to jazz funk (international singer Maysa) from vocalist (song stylist Gail Marten) to instrumentalist (saxophonists Craig Alston and Charles McPherson) and others. The 8 panel CD packaging will contain information about the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center, its history and programs. Information about the jazz artists will also be included.
