Gamers the web series

This is a dramedy web series about seven friends who play console games online. There are the three friends who have grown up together and now live together. Next is the father and the son who play games online together and last but not least is the couple who never goes out. The series focuses on the characters and the different aspects of their lives whether it's them playing online or going out for drinks. The story will have moments that depict them acting like some of their favorite video game characters with less of a focus on old school games and more focus on new school games. My cast and crew come from all around the Chicago land area from the city to suburbs.

How this will help

The least amount of funding to make this project work as well as possible is 1,000 dollars but right now the budget is completely out of pocket for me. I'm trying raise money so that I can feed my cast and crew when they are on set and also to pay for parking when we are in the city. Also, it would be helpful to have money to buy an extra light to use on set as well as a clap board. There are numerous lights that I have been looking over at on Amazon. Some range from 60 dollars to 700 dollars. The type of light that I buy will depend on the budget. The money would also go to the costume department since we have some ideas for wardrobe that we definitely cannot use on our current budget. Then there are also places that I would like to rent as a set and this would help with that as well. All of these would help make the web series even better. Honestly, to make everything as good as it can be, I'd need 5,000 but as of right now 1,000 is a good starting point.
